Longhouse Manor B&B

Stunningly beautiful facility,,,,our room and the common area were beyond expectations…..more like a swanky 6 star hotel….king suite had great chairs for tv area….nice large jacuzzi….refrig and micro in bathroom,,,luxurious robes and linens…hot breakfast in the beautiful common area….pool table,,ping pong table,,games, movies ,,,even the outdoor pool was heated in september…two nice gazebos with firepits…deer all around…great view of lake

The room was beautiful we had a king suite. BUT I called over a month ago to ask about accessibility because my wife uses a walker and a mobility scooter. I was told all on one floor so no problem. I don't think the owners know what a Handicap individual needs . There were 3 steps with brick separated from one another. The last one got you to the landing inside the front door. I had to take my wifes scooter apart and bring each piece inside and reassemble so she could use it. Same thing in reverse going out,That was a nightmare. In the meantime she tried to stand with her walker while i did that. The room was a king suite but had no bars near the toilet which was NOT handicap height. The shower had one bar. The breakfast was great and cooked by a sweet older woman in a different area. The kitchen was dirtyso was the stove. All outdoor barbeque grills looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months. The staff was wonderful when you had a need very responsive. BUT that didn't make up for the lifting on my part to accommodate my wife because this B&B simply is prepared to take that kind of guest. We could never consider booking this again and would warn ANY person with any kind of disability to beware and find some other place to stay

We were glad we chose this place for our stay in the Finger Lakes area. Our room was large, clean and comfortable, with a beautiful view of the lake. There is a nice area outdoors near the pool with comfortable chairs and an even better view (also grills for outdoor cooking, but we didn't use them). The breakfasts were good - served in a pleasant room. The building has a large common area with a pool table, books, etc. for guests to enjoy. The owners don't live on-site, so you check in at the nearby Longhouse motel.

Stayed here a couple of nights on the way to the Chautauqua Institution. The grounds were attractive with a small swimming pool, fire pits and grills (unfortunately, the grills were not working when I was there). The view from the outside front sitting areas was lovely. The place was VERY clean. A continental breakfast and hot cooked to order breakfasts were available. My room was spacious with a refrigerator and microwave. Bed was comfy. I would stay here again.

Ich wünschte niemals hier gewesen zu sein. Das gesamte Anwesen ist in einem schlechten Zustand. Überall ist es schmutzig und verklebt. Das ist Alter Schmutz. Reinigen ist hier ein Fremdwort. Allein der Anblick der Küchengeräte im Frühstücksraum nimmt dir jede Lust an Essen. Toaster, Wasserkocher, die Türen von Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine haben schon lange keine Reinigung erfahren. Da steht noch ein Mixer unten im Regal. Sowas von "versifft". Die Räume sind groß. Das Gestänge der "Himmelbetten" hat im oberen Teil auch schon lange keine Reinigung mehr erlebt. Das Personal ist außerordentlich unfreundlich. Fazit: Niemehr, 1 x ist schon zuviel!!!!
