Tru by Hilton Denver, PA

Nice and good room

It was a beautiful hotel looked exactly like the photos. Comfortable beds, nice buffet breakfast an the pool is small and cute just enough to keep my kids entertained 😊 we will visit again soon.

The staff was welcoming and attentive. The were able to accommodate our early arrival with an immediate check in. We were greeted by a cheerful employee each time we entered the hotel. The King room was very comfortable, with a bright and colorful decor. The free breakfast was enough to fuel us for the upcoming day with hot options (eggs & sausage or bacon) and pancakes, as well as bagels, toast, fruits, cereal, yogurt, etc. The hotel is centrally located to the the many antique stores in the area as well as being close to the Turnpike and major highways in the area. Easy access to Adamstown, Reading and Lancaster!

Tru by Hilton is my new fave place to stay! This hotel was immaculate, beds were so comfortable, breakfast was plentiful with something for everyone, complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the lobby and, last but not least, an amazing, pleasant staff! You won't be disappointed!

Very nice hotel! There were 4 of us and we had 2 rooms both with 2 Queen beds. Very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated! Breakfast selection was excellent and staff was very helpful with recommendations for dinner. Nice lobby where we sat comfortably to play cards in the evening.

So very disappointing overall. Had stayed here before an it was an amazing stay but this time was different. We were allowed to check in early and the staff could not have been nicer. After getting to our room and putting all of our stuff in we decided to go out for a while. We returned several hours later with our dinner from a local restaurant to sit and watch TV in our room. However, the TV didn't work. We called the front desk and they sent two different people up to try to fix the issue but in the end they were not able. By this time it was late and our dinner was cold and we just wanted to go to sleep. They did offer to move us but we declined as we were all settled in with our bags, tired from a long day on the road, and just plain frustrated. Then during the night the bathroom door would catch on the floor when you tried to close it making a loud noise each time. It appeared the floor was warped making it difficult for the door bottom to pass over. That morning while showering we discovered the body wash was empty in the shower. All of this comes down to attention to detail which was seriously lacking during this visit. We reported all of this to the front desk when we check out but no offers of adjustment to the bill was made. This despite a big sign next to the desk promising to "Make it right or we'll cover your night." They did not.

The hotel is clean and most of the staff was attentive. Our room did not have hot water and it took far too long to rectify the situation. I had to suggest giving us a new room to the relatively clueless person at the front desk. Even though she was told by the maintenance person that there was no hot water in the room, she didn't seem to believe him. The rest of the staff was fine. The breakfast is quite limited.

Very clean hotel, friendly staff. Free breakfast included hot food like eggs and sausage; they were warm and cooled off fast, rather than being piping hot. Lack of drawers in room (open benches) means no forgetting stuff in drawers, which is a plus to us! Room key envelope included a card with hotel info like breakfast hours, pool hours and the in-house numbers for the GM and AGM; we didn't need it but it was appreciated! Small mini mart in front by reception, and area near lobby not only has foosball tables, but board games as well. First time staying at a Tru by Hilton, would stay here again. Recommended.

I was very pleased with this hotel! We were in town with my son's soccer team and the boys enjoyed the foosball tables in the lobby and the hot breakfast fueled them up to win their games! The staff was fantastic, going out of their way to make sure we were happy and the rooms were nice and clean. I would definitely stay again if we're back in the area.
