Hope Inn Redding

….when I was told to stay at the Hope Inn on a trip up the west coast of the States, as the description was fully accurate – a great, quiet location, well-appointed rooms, accessible and well-equipped, safe for parking and a very friendly welcome. Formerly a private house, set amongst mature trees and lawns dotted with deer in the early morning, the Hope Inn doesn’t exactly advertise itself from the street, which is another of its charms. My large, comfortable and warm room – in early fall in northern California – was ideal and provided what I needed most – a hot shower and a good nights sleep.

Pleasantly surprised how beautiful the Hope Inn is. I was in Redding for a conference, Hope Inn was located within a few miles, there is also lots of different restaurants, shops, gas stations, and the beautiful Sun Dial walk close by. The house is close to Hwy 5 but far enough away you feel like you're in the country. The grounds are nicely manicured with lots of outdoor seating near trees, water fountains, grass. Very quiet, comfortable, clean and just beautiful all the way around. The owners are wonderful people and enjoyed our conversations. Would definitely recommend and will be going back!

No words can even express this inn, from reservations to ending our stay was a great experience, we stayed 3 nights and out of those 3 2 of them we had the entire place to ourselves, it was just what my mind needed, calm , peaceful energy from pulling into the parking spot and going inside, everything was clean. They had everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The grounds were absolutely beautiful , they had lots of outdoor seating and if you are lucky you just might get greeted by some adorable critters. We stayed in the Morning Light which was decorated so nice. The bed was very comfortable. This place should be on the top of your stay in Redding Ca, no other place I've ever stayed compares.

We had a lovely time here in January 2023 for our anniversary. The house was quiet and comfortable, and everything was perfect! For less than the price of a luxury hotel room, you can get so much more at Hope Inn. It requires two hundred characters but that's all we have to say!

This is a beautiful place to stay. We were on our way from SF to Crater Lake so stopped here to break up the drive. And we are SO glad we did! We stayed in the Vineyard Room which is spacious and beautiful. The bathroom had a huge shower, bathrobes and again, lots of space. The bed is big and comfortable. There are chairs to sit in and windows looking out to the stunning gardens. All amenities are available in the room - fridge, toiletries, coffee maker, lots of hanger space . The bedrooms are centred around a shared sitting area and a shared kitchen. But if you're shy, you don't need to come out of your room. Everything is immaculately clean, there is shaded parking (a bonus when it's over 100 outside). Entrance is through a door code. We had a really nice stay here and found it excellent value for money.

We stayed in the Royal Shasta room for one night. Denise greeted us and was super friendly and helpful. We had both dinner and breakfast at places she recommended and they were great! The bathroom is the real winner in the Royal Shasta room - such a stunning room!.
