It's a shame, I have stayed in the hotel for 6 times through 2023.
But each time I stayed, i questioned the service and cleaned rooms over the stays.
It's at the top end for price, for no service for food at the advertised restaurant in the hotel, no buffet breakfast, as you have to order from the menu, for additional cost, and to top it they tried to ask me extra money for the parking! In their secluded car park, which is on the premises, I argued my case and was waiver to pay.
I am a paying guest in an empty hotel. They must be losing customers.
It's supposed to be a wedding venue, god knows how.
I will be now booking elsewhere after this stay.

Wow what an amazing team, I had my wedding here in July. The venue is absolutely beautiful, the staff are so friendly and always willing to help! I highly highly recommend. Massive thank you to the team for making my wedding day the best day I could have ever dreamed of.

We chose to hold our wedding day here on Saturday 19th! It was the most amazing day! Me and my bridal party stayed the night before, the rooms was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff were brilliant and made sure the whole day ran smoothly. The wedding breakfast was amazing and many guests said it was the best food they’d ever had at a wedding! The ceremony room and the reception looked amazing. I also had arts by rich for the caricatures and he said the staff made him feel so welcome throughout his booking as they was so friendly and accommodating. Thank you all Southcrest for helping us have the best day ever! We will definitely return in the future… possibly for our anniversary xx

A good hotel. There was some traffic noise but my room was comfortable, if a little in need of a refresh. There was a fire alarm at 9.30pm but it was dealt with efficiently and speedily. Breakfast average but edible. A good place to stopover on my trip home from Devon.

Held a reunion for 25 people from all around the UK, on a Monday evening. Everything went really well from check in to leaving. Only had compliments from those attending. Function room was ideal for us. Food for a function was better than expected with only clean plates leaving the function room, quite unusual! The rooms were perfectly adequate for our requirements and I would say the day rate was very fair. Ours also included the evening meal as well as breakfast. All staff were excellent but a big shout out to Helen, who organised the evening and Taylor who looked after us so well on the night. Breakfast was also pretty good ,especially for those with a bit of a hangover! Cannot really fault in any way. Hope to repeat next year!

We recently had our wedding day at the southcrest manor and we couldn't thank the staff more. From kay who organised everything to the rest of the staff who ensured everything ran smoothly and to plan. Myself and my Husband got married at the Southcrest one year ago today. We went back to enjoy our first anniversary there. We were pampered, enjoying the hot tub sauna and had full body massages! Relaxation it what we needed! It was lovely to be back and bring back all the memories and excitement from our wedding day! Another couple were also tying the knot which was lovely to watch as they entered their life as a married couple! It was absolutely amazing to be back and felt really looked after, all the staff remembered us and made us feel super welcomed and commented about our wedding day! It was definitely one to remember pumpkins galore and zombie actors to give our guests a fright! We soon realized that our room was upgraded, and had treats and rose petals spread out on the bed, and a Anniversary card. This made our day! The three course meal was delicious and the cocktails wasn't bad either! really lovely to be back and relive the excitement and butterflies. Kay and the team are real super stars, can't wait to go back soon! We've booked for the Santa breakfast!
