Hotel Hacienda Redfern is perfect for an action-packed city break if you won’t be spending much time in your room. Although the room is quite small, it’s clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing does a decent job. However, travelers sensitive to noise should note that the nearby railway can be a bit disruptive. The location is excellent, with easy access to Redfern’s lively bar scene, and it’s only a short stroll or bike ride to both Central and Redfern stations.

If all you need is a place to sleep, this hotel is quite decent. However, if you’re looking for a bit more in terms of service, it seems this hotel falls short of expectations.

They hotel didn't give me a room with wardrobe or closet or anything to put my clothes, not even a chair!!! The TV couldn't be set up. It's so noisy you can hear outside anyone talking, kids crying at 1 am and the view was the worse plus the blinds were quite difficult to scroll down. I tried to open a bit the window and the smell of food came. In the morning I told this to the receptionist and she said it was depending on how many days I stay they give me certain room, so they gave me kinda the worst. I do.not recommend this lie of hotel. Its a shame because through the pictures I had good expectations. Plus, the 50 aud deposit they said might be refunded in 5 to 8 business days. UNBELIEVABLE!
