Residence Inn Seattle East/Redmond

Nice trip

Great location. Easy walking distance to stores and restaurants. The property is nicely landscaped, but the rooms need a facelift. The elevators are horrible. Sleep quality is not great because of the construction for rail line. Breakfast is above average.

An excellent property with bright, helpful staff. The breakfast that was included was one of the best I've had at any hotel property. The rooms were small but clean and efficient. Parking for a moderate fee ($14) was plentiful. The property is just one block to the Town Center shopping mall.

Our stay at the hotel was generally satisfactory. Despite the presence of stern notes and the hotel being half-renovated, the room was reasonably nice, spacious and clean. The value for money was acceptable, though there were too few elevators.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was disappointed to find that employees were smoking electronic cigarettes in the stairwell. Despite claiming to be a smoke-free hotel, the smell of vaping permeated the air, causing discomfort and irritation. I cannot recommend this hotel for those seeking a smoke-free environment." I wish I never see it when I was leaving because it wiped out my good memories.

We spent 2 nights here - a weekend. As we checked in, the gal at the front desk informed us there were jr soccer teams staying but assured me they would ensure guest comfort. She was right. There were signs posted in every hallway about enforced quiet hours 9pm-7am. Our room was next to the swimming pool and we were relieved to see that those quiet hours were indeed enforced. The room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and the full hot breakfast (included with the room) was excellent both days. The breakfast area is quite spacious and a nice touch is the outside patio for eating in a quieter environment. As a coffee lover, I applaud the Residence Inn for serving up a quality brew. The bold coffee was excellent. I also liked that the hotel was ideally located a block from the town centre with dining/shopping options. We will return to Redmond next year and you can be sure we will stay here.

I stayed at the Residence Inn Redmond last weekend while my family attended a soccer tournament. We paid nearly $1000 for two nights stay at this garbage hotel and it felt like a complete rip off. The location is fine, it's in downtown Redmond, walking distance to good restaurants and Redmond Town Center, and if it wasn't for the location, I would have given this property a one star rating. Like any hotel of this class, the walls were thin, the hallways were loud and the amenities were slim. I ordered a room with a king bed and a fold out double bed. The double bed was not made up and we had to call down to the housekeeping to request bed sheets and pillows and then we had to make the bed. We stayed here during one of the hottest weeks of the year and the hotel had no ice machine. When we called to ask where it was located, the front desk said, the ice maker in our freezer was the only available one. This was shut off when we arrived and took about 12 hours to get ice. They suggested we go to the store to get ice if we wanted it sooner. The door to the hallway had no seal around it, so all night, there was a very bright light shining through the door to the hotel room, which kept us up. The hotel also charged $17 a night for parking in their unsecured parking lot. I would not stay in this hotel again. It's run down and overpriced for what it is.

The hotel is exactly what you expect. Nice quiet rooms, fully equipped with a kitchen and utensils. Good parking space and proximity to Bellevue and Redmond. There's a nice trail that connects to the property that makes for a very nice morning walk. Breakfast is pretty good. And, like most hotels in the area, super expensive. My only gripe is that the main elevator in the building is incredibly slow. It was really painful to wait for it in the morning. There's another elevator that is less convenient but actually moves at normal speed.

Hotel is either new or recently renovated. Everything in the room was great, gym was nice. Breakfast had some freshly made options, which is nice to see. Only complaint would be the odd layout with very slow elevators. Not sure why it was designed this way but there are two single elevators at either end of the hotel that are a bit of a walk from the entrance. The location is awesome, you can walk to a ton of food.
