Although the room was a little dated. The cleanliness was outstanding. The staff was so accommodating and the location was perfect for a stroll through town. The price was great for the convenience and closeness to the beach

Very clean. Modern. Convenient to the beach and boardwalk. Reasonable pricing and booking policies. Staff (from reservations to housekeeping) were super friendly and helpful. Rooms are very nice and clean, with a microwave and mini fridge. Nice pool also.

Great location and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable and prices are below similar hotels. We will be returning in Summer 2026.

Our stay was great! The location was perfect and only two blocks away from the beach and one block away from the main road. The room was decent and clean. The staff were great and accommodating. We asked last minute for a late checkout and were accommodated during the busy July 4th weekend.

We were very happy with our stay at this hotel. The rooms were clean, the location was close to everything we wanted to do, and the staff very nice. Across the street is a restaurant called "Summer House". We went there on more than one occasion. They had delicious cocktails, and the food was very good as well.

My husband and I stayed at the Oceanus for the Coastal Delaware Running Festival weekend. The folks working at the front desk at the hotel were EXCEPTIONAL, truly remarkable to have that level of service at a hotel. We were also given a 6pm checkout as the Marathon was on Sunday and it was so wonderful to be able to walk to the race start in less than 5 minutes, and go back to the hotel after the race to shower, pack up, and head home. I was really impressed by all of it, and will be back for sure.

My wife and I have stayed at the Oceanus literally dozens of time and in our opinion it is the best value in town. Friendly staff, great location, and a super clean facility.....what more could you ask. Located on Second Street you are a ten minute walk to the Boardwalk/beach and a dozen restaurants and/or bars. Rooms are quiet and pristine. My wife and I will never stay anyplace else.

We have stayed at the Oceanus many times and have always enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, the pool is always in great shape, and the location is fantastic. Other than the pool, it's definitely a no frills hotel, but the price is reasonable and it makes it affordable for us to stay in Rehoboth, which is quite expensive these days. The staff is always friendly and helpful, also, which makes a big difference.

Between the staff, location and the cleanliness and quality of the room it is No. 1 for us. We have stayed there for a number of years and will continue to stay there.
