We absolutely loved our stay at Polyxenia Suites! Giannis was such a kind and gracious host. He was very flexible with us and always quick to respond. We loved the personal touches: delicious coffee and homemade wine and cake from his mother and family. The view of the city is beautiful and the AC was a life saver. We had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation in Crete and look forward to staying here again in the future.

This is very special from start. Have to ask what this building was from start. Situated in the middle of old town in Rethymno, overlooking roof tops from second floor and up, neighbors to a moske and overlooking a nice walking street. The balcony goes almost around the house and there is always some shade. The height in the apartment is approximately 3,5 meters. You got space. The little things - met by the very pleasant son in the family who owns the house. In the room we found a delicious cake made by his mother, raki made by his father and wine. Just a place to enjoy life!

The hospitality was fantastic, the room was spacious and clean, and the area is great! Parking was a bit tough, but that goes with staying in such a great location.

Very central apartment. Great stay, with a large room, comfortable bed and good shower. Had an initial issue with the Wi-Fi where we had to use my data, and also one day when we got back and the air con would even switch one then miraculously it did. Not sure if was on a timer or was it a temporary issue. Didn’t spoil the stay

This is an exceptional boutique hotel in the heart of Rethymnon old town. It's spotlessly clean, beautifully presented with tasteful decor. The owner takes pride in his hotel and goes the extra mile to ensure your stay is perfect. Good communication before and during the stay. Then there are the thoughtful extras. Water in the fridge. Home made wine. A good choice of teas and a kettle in the room. And a cake made by his mom. Despite the town centre location once the windows are closed there is no disturbance from the shops and restaurants below. The balcony is a perfect place to sit and people watch during the day and evening. There's a good choice of cafes and restaurants on your doorstep, the sea front is less than 5 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.
