They have two buildings and hips of rooms available. Service is not bad and food is good.

Booked expecting “Sandman” standards. Was surprised that it is a motel style accommodation with exterior doors but not a problem. Doors were filthy. Phone was disgusting. We had fruit flies rooming with us. Some alive. Some caught up in cobwebs. Very disappointed

So many things to say, so little time. The place is a dump. The beds are hard, the AC didn't work properly (due to the fact they don't train staff on how to clean the filters), the showerhead sucks (right in the MIDDLE of the tub, pointing downwards), and the rooms smell mouldy.

This hotel was very poor, the room certainly nothing like what is advertised on the website. We were in the second block the main security access door was not working and open to everyone. Our room on the second floor had a fire escape door just outside our door, this was continually used even up to 3:30am , The room did have an odour when you walked in , and a few flies . The air con we had to turn off at night due to the noise. Our room did not get the supplies replenished even though we had put the sign requesting it on the door. Very poor quality , not like the rooms advertised on Website.

Thank goodness we only had one night here! It was like stepping into a motel from a horror movie! Bathroom was dirty with mould, dead bugs and the room had a bad smell. Food offering at the Dennies was also bad but this maybe a separate franchise.

I have never experienced a hotel like this. To start off, when you walked into the room it smelled like wet stale carpet. There were flies and spiders all over the room. The main door was filthy and was missing the security latch so it was useless. The bathroom was very disappointing. The back of the door was dirty with hand marks. The shower had black mould. This is and was a terrible stay at a chain hotel that used to be one of our favorites.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful. Cons: Stayed in original part of hotel. Room was very dated. Walls/doors needed a good washing. Bathroom outlet did not work. Daily housekeeping and replenishment of amenities not done unless requested the day before. There is a sign at the front desk stating this however it could easily be missed (as our group missed it). Recommend front desk staff mention this when checking in. Also recommend that if this procedure is to continue on then sufficient amenities (shampoo, conditioner, towels, coffee, etc.) should be left in the room for the entire stay. One wall-mounted bedside lamp did not work. Mattress had to be pulled away from the wall/headboard and we found an empty lab specimen container and an empty water bottle. We also had to pull out the night stands and there was garbage behind these as well as under the hide-a-bed. Recommendation: do a more thorough cleaning of the rooms more often. Breakfast not included. Found the cost of the room to be expensive for the quality of stay.

Friendly welcome by Hanau when checking in. Went above and beyond to get us in a room after seeing how exhausted we were after travelling. Her and the other staff at the front desk were really welcoming and friendly. Great first experience of the hotel
