Lindos Mare, Seaside Hotel

Everything about this hotel is excellent. The hotel is immaculately clean, the rooms are comfortable, the setting is beautiful, the food is outstanding, and the quality of service from every member of staff - whether in reception, the bars/restaurants, or the porters and cleaners is as good as I’ve experienced anywhere in the world. Professional, friendly, and cheerful, the people make the place. Whether looking for somewhere to relax, or as a base for exploring the island, I can’t recommend Lindos Mare enough.

This is an excellent hotel and the most generous we have experienced on our travels. We stayed in the new panoramic executive sea view room. They are right at the top of the hotel above the executive rooms that share a pool. Very nice indeed. We had a bottle of wine and fizz in the room on our arrival and this was restocked twice in our 10 days. Very unexpected and welcome! The staff are brilliant. Always saying hello and offering to help when needed. Food was excellent. Breakfast was buffet style to accommodate the numbers of people staying. Evening meal we went to the Greek taverna project and also the a la carte and both were exceptional. A fantastic trip thank you

I have already written a review many times but just been prompted to do another one so here it goes!!! I've been to many places, hotels, resorts etc. but I can't help but returning to my favourite place! I'm booked again for 2 weeks in July, yes solo again. Please don't feel worried about travelling on your own as i always feel so safe. Families, couples, wedding parties and the list goes on! ALL of the staff are amazing and go above and beyond! Thank you !

Having just returned from a week in this hotel I can verify all the positive reviews. We arrived very late but, as mentioned by others, we were grated with a warm welcome. The freshly prepared wraps waiting for us in the fridge were very welcome after our journey. The choice of food is amazing. We stayed on half board basis. After the extensive choice for breakfast, we had no need for lunch although that is readily available. All the staff are very polite, helpful & friendly. Cleanliness is first class. As documented by other guests, it does take a short while to familiarise yourself with the various levels - but that is not a problem. There are numerous lifts if the stairs pose a problem. The local (sand / shingle) beach is pleasant. Free sun beds and towels are provided. The amount of shingle / pebbles increases greatly as you progress beyond the Lindos Mare designated beach area. The bus stop at the top of the drive (slight hill) allows easy access to the local busses to Lindos (5 Minutes) and Rhodes Old Town (70 minutes). Both are recommended. Try to go as early as possible to avoid the crowds and the heat of midday. Whilst in Lindos, after visiting the Acropolis, (40 Euros per adult), make sure to wander down the local streets away from the shops. There, you will find more authentic Greek houses. Head downhill to the lovely sandy beach. In Rhodes head to the Old Town which is fascinating to explore. Many thanks to everyone at Lindos Mare for making us so welcome. If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful holiday with fantastic food and wonderful welcoming staff, this is the place for you.

This wonderful hotel is just a 5 minute bus or taxi ride to Lindos village. We have been to many hotels over the years and this is definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed in so far! The room we had was kept beautifully clean and we had a wonderful view from the balcony. The towels are soft and fluffy, the complimentary shower gels and shampoo smell lovely, the beds and pillows are so comfortable and nothing is too much trouble for the lovely, friendly staff. The pool beds are extra wide and have lovely thick pads on them and the pool itself is lovely. The food quality and variety is absolutely outstanding, both breakfast and evening meals were amazing! We would not hesitate to recommend this wonderful hotel and look forward to returning soon.

This time I'll write a short review, as it was my second time at the hotel and I've already written a review in 2023. However, I want to acknowledge the warmth with which we were welcomed there the second time which proves that the hotel not only provides lovely conditions for first-time guests, but also values its returning family, because that is how you relate to everyone there. I'd like to send my best wishes to Nikos, Ina, Ourania, Savvas, Yevheniia and Fiquerete who were only some of the many more who helped us have memorable days once again. Hope to see you next summer, as we've already booked our stay for 2025! And, once again, the food here is beyond expectations - not to mention the wonderful view you get from the buffet restaurant.
