Gennadi Grand Resort

As a family of four (kids aged 13 and 9) we truly loved our 9 night stay at Gennadi Grand Resort in August, rating it as one of the best resorts we’ve been to. The staff were lovely and engaging, food delicious and a good selection on offer through out the day. Our room, a two bedroom suite with pool, was spacious, clean and relaxing and we had no significant issue with noise despite being centrally located. The activities were fun, varied and good quality and catered for all our needs (tennis, table tennis, different yoga sessions, small gym, darts, aqua tabata, waterpolo, boat hire, astronomy night and gaming nights for the kids). The general vibe was chilled, chic, easy going and calm. Pool and beach areas were comfortable and well maintained and you could find a space at poolside or at the beach at anytime of the day. The surrounding area offered beautiful hillside and sea views and sunrise was stunning. It was a hot but easy walk to Gennadi, where there was a good selection of bars and restaurants (Kourkoutavlos offered great pre dinner drinks and Mama’s Kitchen served delicious Greek dishes). We also hired a car to explore the more untouched southern part of the island. Negatives would be the use of single use plastic, questionable recycling and lack of water refill stations. Also the resorts sun lounger policy wasn’t adhered to, which encouraged guests to refrain from occupying a sun lounger before 10am and not leave items on loungers unattended for more than 30 minutes. This meant reserving sun loungers by the main pool early. We didn’t have any hassle in relation to this as we were pretty fluid about where we based ourselves at the resort but it has the potential to cause frustration. If I had the opportunity to stay here again I wouldn’t hesitate and I’m keen to look into alternative Lindos resorts. Thank you for a great holiday.

This is a truly lovely resort. It has something for everyone. The beach is on property with the clearest water I have ever seen. Lots of fish and beautiful sunsets. The food here is really good. Fresh, quality ingredients prepared by experienced chefs. I went all inclusive and it was totally worth it. With an incredible buffet and lots of other restaurants there was plenty to choose from and after a two week stay I am still excited about my next meal! They have a daily yoga program with sunrise yoga on the beach, meditation and tons of other things. There is a beach volleyball court, water sports (I tried paddle boarding and loved it), tennis courts and a well equipped gym. I travelled with my brother and his young family and they went to the kids club every other day and had a blast. The layout of the resort is peaceful and feels very open and close to nature. The individual pool option looks amazing. If I come back (which I hope to) I will definitely splurge! The rooms are clean and well appointed. Everything you might need. I did a day trip into Rhodes Old Town, which was well worth it. They have a number of different tours and trips available for people that want to do more than hang out on the resort. Saving the best for last, it is the team here that make this a truly special place. They are happy to see you, kind and smiley. I felt welcome wherever I was on site and whoever I was speaking with. From the incredibly helpful front desk team, to the amazing people in the beach bar, the pool team, to the cleaners, this made the holiday for me. A real 5* rating from me!

We have just returned from a week at Gennadi Grande resort in Rhodes Greece and we had the most amazing holiday and was met by 5 star service and Greek hospitality at its best. We had 2 swim up suites and the amenities within the suites were impressive to say the least. To include coffee machine, fluffy bathrobes and towels and the beds were very comfortable. The resort is spotless and the staff in every department go above and beyond to make your holiday as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. The catering staff and bar staff I have to say were fabulous and each day they would welcome us at breakfast and the extra touches of knowing what our preferences were went along way. The bar staff and waiting on staff around the pool area were very attentive and again the service was 5 star. ⭐️ It’s very evident that all staff are trained to an high standard and appreciate that people want to relax and kick back. We had the best holiday, a big thank you to all the staff for making our holiday special and for being attentive, kind and welcoming. We will definitely return to this beautiful resort.

Very nice hotel with nice pools, hotel room with plenty of space and a beautiful private pool as well. The food is very good and many choices regarding the buffets! The employees who work there are all nice and professional. We will come back!

This was our third time visiting Gennadi Grand Resort, and once again everything was truly exceptional. The hotel is a genuine five-star destination: beautiful rooms, excellent food, and outstanding service. This hotel, always feels like a place we want to return to without ever getting bored. A heartfelt thank you goes to Mr. Panagiotis Pityropoulos, F&B Director, whose hospitality and professionalism make every time our stay even more memorable. Both the hotel and Mr. Pityropoulos are true gems. We also had this year the chance to experience the fine dining restaurant Edesma, after hearing so many great reviews, and it truly is another jewel of the resort. Congratulations to the chef for his outstanding creations.

By far the best resort we have ever stayed at. The staff can't do enough for you. Every detail has been thought through. Impeccably clean, stunning pools, beautiful beach. The food is incredible. Were already looking to rebook.
