Das Apartment an sich war ok...viele Ameisen auf dem Balkon. Klimaanlage kostete 20€ am Tag extra! Stand nirgends in der Hotelbeschreibung! Abzocke...und statt 8€ Tax wurde uns 16€ Tax für 4 Nächte berechnet... Beides natürlich OHNE Rechnung :(

I feel I need to write a review here to offset some of the negative reviews I have read before I even went to this place. Most of the review here i cannot agree with. I don't know if people are just too demanding, have higher expectations than what is advertised or generally the boomer generation that wants the moon on a stick, and then be able to eat the moon. I visited for a week on Aug 4th and I have nothing g but praise for the place, Dianne, a very friendly day lady who has worked there a long time does not stop. The owner Paul works tiresly keeping the place going which he built with his father back in The 80s. And his Son who was super friendly and helpful. We felt very welcome here. As this was my daughters first holiday I wanted it to be memorable and it did not disappoint. We have a 2 bed apartment with a balcony at the back which caught the much needed breeze as it was super hot. The front door on the first floor looked over the gorgeous pool and plants that surrounded the area. Don't come here expecting 5 star apartments. The rooms are basic and functional. They are really clean and tidy. Beds are comfy. You have an area with fridge and kettle ect for tea or to prep some humous and bread sticks from the shop literally 1 min walk away. The bathroom and plumbing is Greek. Yes it's all a bit antiquated, but this is Greece. It adds to the charm and I was more than happy sat on the balcony with a cup of tea . People's reviews here showing a dirt mark or moaning about a chip in the toilet , moaning the toaster had rust on it... I could go on but seriously, like go outside and see where you are? Why are you indoors for? Air conditioning worked a dream for us, not sure why again people are moaning. We only used for a couple of days as on a tight budget but we ended up having too as it was 40 degrees by the time we left. People saying 20 eur is alot. The hotel makes 5 eur profit out of that as electricity is super expensive in Greece. 5 eur to then maintain the air con units. Not much is it? The people moaning about ants. It's Greece. There are ants literally everywhere and mozzies and cats! Tip.. don't want ants in the apartment? Clean up after yourself. I had ants once as I had left a bottle of cocktail out . Only time we had them . Location, literally 5 mins walk to a beautiful turquoise beach surrounded by rocks for some amazing snorkeling. 5 mins the other way and you on the main strip of shops, bars, eateries. It's just lovely . Good bus links too and cheap to go visit lindos up road which was 2 eur or further afield. The pool. Wow. Super clean, the guys put alot of chems in every night and it's just gorgeous and deep too. Chilling by the pool was definitely a highlite of this place. Worth noting we upgraded to bed and breakfast and trust me we didn't not need lunch for most of the holiday! We actually stayed here a year ago and as it was our first time booking a self catering apartment, we didn’t know what to expect. I’m writing this now, as we’re coming to the end of another self catering holiday and our experience couldn’t be more different. Tips If you’re due to arrive after 9pm ish, take a torch, water and your own fan. The place will be in complete darkness when you arrive and your key will be left in your door. The air con will not be on. It’s a pretty unbearable first night in summer if you’re not used to heat. Take your own toilet paper, washing up liquid, cleaning products and tea towels, as these are not provided. I wouldn’t recommend booking this if you’re a self-caterer who likes to cook- there is only a two ring plug in hot plate available. No other means of cooking. Familiarise yourself with the bins around the area as you are required to empty your own bins, including the toilet one, into the street bins . Your room may be cleaned once in the time you’re there. There are no changes of towels. I bought my own washing powder. Air Conditioning, Tourist Tax and Safety Deposit Box all need to be budgeted for. Cash preferred. You’ll need the air con but it will take a wedge out of your budget. Two bed apartments- we were in one of the ground floor apartments which unfortunately was nothing like the photograph given to us by Jet2. It is dark and gloomy with cell-like windows so you couldn’t see outside. The twin room was a good size. IKEA-type small wardrobe. In the Double, the bed is a mattress on a fixed base you have to climb up to. There’s very little room to sit indoors. There were two small side tables but only room really for a couple of chairs. The terraced area, whilst very public, was a good size. The pool is brilliant. The kids loved it. The location is fab. Really central for everything and buses to take you all over the island. All in all we had a fab holiday but were surprised to have paid roughly the same for this holiday as we did last year, yet the experience is totally different.

Wasn't all doom and gloom as the location is perfect, the pool was great and always enough sun Loungers! However the rooms are grim!! I've stayed in Pefkos many times and in different hotels and not bothered by old decor! However this place needs a serious referb! Bathroom was disgusting badly stained toilet and seat, rust on shower and taps! I even wore my flip flops to shower. Stayed for 7 nights and only had hot water once (didn't complain about thin though as it was refreshing) paid €120 euro for aircon and my room was so hot it was better sat on the balcony! Had a 2 bed apartment and the aircon is placed in the hallway above the door and only blows into one room, never once got cold so was constantly hot and sticky so the cold shower was actually welcomed! ANTS!! our room was covered in them constantly even though we was on the top floor. All over kitchen sides and in fridge it was grim! I did empty bins daily to try and help the situation but it didn't! Only supplied 1 toilet roll and towels and bedding were changed once and on our 6th day of a 7 day stay which seemed pointless. Was really disappointed with our stay. Thankfully we had friends on other hotels so did just use this hotel as a place to sleep and get ready. Wouldn't stay here again

I was a little worried before coming due to some mixed reviews, but honestly, we had the best time here. As a young couple, we’re not fussy and are usually happy with the basics — but this place exceeded our expectations. If I could have figured out how to change our flights, we would have happily stayed for 10 nights! 😂 From the start, Diane was amazing. We were arriving late at night, so we joined the Facebook group in advance — she sorted out the air conditioning, told us which room we were in, and gave us clear directions before we even arrived. Such a lovely and hardworking person. All the staff were brilliant. Niko the bartender is an absolute lovely person, and Linda the cleaner is also lovely — everyone really goes above and beyond. Paul, the owner, was around most evenings. We didn’t see much of him until the last night as we’d usually leave the pool just as he arrived, but when we did chat, he was so helpful — even offering to phone our transfer company to confirm where we’d be picked up. We also paid €40 to extend our room on the last day, and he was really accommodating. The location is perfect — just a short walk to the beach, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Karma Bar at the top of the drive was our go-to every night — highly recommend it! The pool bar food was great too. I especially loved the small breakfast — I had it three mornings in a row because it was so good! The Greek salad and gyros were delicious — I’m gutted I waited until the last day to try the gyros. The menu is huge with loads of choice! Yes, the rooms are a little dated and could do with a refresh, but that’s quite typical for many places in Greece — and honestly, it adds to the charm. For the price, we weren’t expecting luxury, and we genuinely loved it. We had a terrace with a view of the large pool, the room itself was very spacious, and the beds were super comfy. We couldn’t have been happier! We’d highly recommend this place! x

Arrived ,friendly and helpful. Apartment basic. Needs updating but I liked it. Amazing shower. Beds comfortable. Large wardrobe. Simple kitchen. Travel kettle. One towel so I bought a tea towel for my hair. Pool amazing. Friendly staff. Prime location. Clean. Over priced water 3euros. Diane lovely. Down to earth.. full of info. More lighting needed near your front door. Balcony and furniture.lovely.
