Santa Maria City Hotel

Everything was perfect during our stay at Santa Maria. We liked the hotel, location, hotel staff, breakfast and rooms. You may find all basic things what you are looking for. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly. A big thank to Sofia from Front Desk. She was very helpful in any case. I highly recommend Santa Maria who would like visit Rhodes İsland.

This was our third stay at Santa Maria City Hotel, from 16.th of june to 16.th of july. Luckily we got the same familyroom as we had once before. This time for 3 weeks. The first week of 4, we chose a doubleroom since we were only two. The hotel is the same. The mattresses is great to sleep in, however there are no mattress-protection, so you clearly see the dirt! Not much hygienic. I did as earlier stay; went out and bought my own fitted sheet. It has - sad to say, lost a bit of its charm both due to lack of maintenance, but also as for the breakfast; still no variety of bread/rolls etc. Breadknifes for slizing rolls were still absent. The housekeeping was unfortunately mediocre. When it comes to the reception/desk-employees, Dimitris is one of a kind. He makes you feel welcome and special. He loves his job, cares deeply for his guests and are so humble. What Sophia and (Nico)Letta concerns, they are two lovely woman who sees their guests and also takes good care of you during your stay.

Worth of money! Good location, room clean and handy (my balcony was small, but no problem cos I dont spend my holiday there) area was quiet& peaceful also I didnt here any noise during nighttime, that's great. Breakfast was quite simple, but also really good, I dont need more options. Everyday still bit different things and I did enjoy the breakfast much. Staff was nice and I was pleasantly surprised. This was better than most hotels I've been to. Would recommend.

We liked everything about the Santa Maria city hotel. It was spotlessly clean and the customer service was excellent. Maria and Fortina always made us feel very welcome with a smile and good conversation. The food was excellent and we loved being able to eat outside in the sunshine. The room was very clean and comfortable. The location was fantastic close to everything. We will defiantly return to Santa Maria.

We just got home after staying one week in the Santa Maria City Hotel and wow, this was probably the best hotel experience we have had so far. Rooms were great, hotel was clean and very-well maintained. Breakfast was amazing with plenty of options. What plenty…they had so many options we couldn’t even try them all. And they also paid attention to my gluten intolerance and gave me a huge, separate plate with gf bread, rice cakes, rice chips and a very tasty wafer bar every single morning. But the best part of the whole thing was the hotel’s staff. They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Every single person we met was kind, helpful and smiley all the time. The ladies at the reception deserve a special mention however. We have never met such great people during any of our vacations before. They not just made sure to ask us about how we were doing but they gladly took the time to chat with us, at times, even for hours. Their attitude and friendliness really made our stay unforgettable and our departure more saddening than it would have been normally. It was a pleasure to meet you and we really hope to see you again in the future. We originally booked a Deluxe room with a view on the small church next door which was pretty awesome already - spacious, with plenty of storage possibilities and comfortable beds and a nice little balcony. Halfway through our stay we were upgraded to one of the newly redecorated Superior rooms with a trendy loft-like interior design and a view on the street. All in all, the rooms were both really good and we enjoyed them both but slightly preferred the Deluxe one. We will be back in the future.
