We stayed at Princess Sun last September/October, for 14 nights. I’ve been meaning to write this since we got back home as I know how important reviews are when looking for a holiday. Well, it was brilliant! We are a family with a then 2 year old and we had such a lovely time. The weather was stunning, the hotel grounds were clean, the staff at reception, in the restaurants, at the bar and the entertainment team were lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. I am quite a fussy eater and I still found things to eat every day, at breakfast there was a selection of hot foods like eggs, sausages, etc along with sweet options (my fave) like pastries, fruit, cakes, cereal and yoghurts. Lunch time at the pool bar was brilliant! They had fresh pizzas, burgers, hot dogs, gyros, fish fingers or chicken nuggets and chips. For the evening meal back in the main restaurant, they had lots of options every evening (we stayed for 14 nights and there was some repeats but hey it doesn’t matter) my partner who enjoys trying food was happy with the selection they had. They even had pasta (with a bolognese sauce or tomato sauce) every night. They had a range of fruit and yummy puddings along with ice cream every night too. We aren’t big drinkers so can’t really comment on the alcohol side of things, we did have a couple of cocktails but that was about it. I loved the strawberry slushes (try one if you go!). We took a blue water bottle for our little one and we would just top it up at breakfast with the bottled water they give when you sit down at the table. Our room was a decent size for the three of us, it had a bathroom with a walk in shower, a double bed and a pull out bed along with a tv and dressing area. We had a balcony which looked out to the front of the hotel (as seen in the photo we stayed at the top). The pools were nice too, there wasn’t ever a fight for sun beds but imagine if it was busier there could be a struggle. Some people left the cups around which often blew into the side of the pool but that’s not the hotels fault, that’s just lazy people. There are staff who come round and collect cups that have been left. There are slides for those who like those, a children’s pool which we spent most of our time in and 2 other pools. There is a free shuttle bus that runs regularly to and from the beach. We only went once, it was very busy so ended up sitting on one broken sunbed between the three of us and it’s a stoney beach which does hurt the feet, so we chose not to return again but the views were lovely. We just weren’t prepared for how busy it was. We took trips down to the bottom of the hill as there are a little row of shops including a pharmacy which we needed for our little one during our stay. The hill is steep but definitely doable (we did it with a pram too). We booked an excursion to Rhodes with Impress Holidays, they are on Facebook and Google. I would definitely recommend getting out to explore if you’re there for a long time. We were co
