Lydia Maris Resort & Spa

Hade en fantastisk tid på Lydia Maris Hotel. Animationsteamet är det som verkligen förenar hotellet, Gustavo var fantastisk, väldigt glad och vänlig och fick alla att skratta. Vi hade ett dubbelrum/tvåbäddsrum med utsikt över landskapet, det var två enkelsängar bredvid varandra som lätt flyttades om man försökte skjuta ihop dem. Bortsett från det var rummet toppen, städarna var väldigt glada och vänliga. En sak vi inte var särskilt nöjda med var vår första natt, vi anlände runt 22.00 och vårt rum var inte klart så vi kunde inte packa upp förrän följande eftermiddag när vårt rum äntligen var tillgängligt. Detta hände också några andra personer. Vi debiterades också 150 euro i turistskatt vid ankomsten, vilket överraskade oss. Om vi ​​hade vetat detta skulle vi ha tagit med oss ​​mer pengar eftersom det var hälften av vad vi hade! Även om det inte var hotellets fel, bara för att göra folk medvetna :) Gott om lokala transporter och privata hyrbilar, rekommenderar att se Gamla stan och Lindos, de var fantastiska! Maten var bra, bara mycket av samma saker varje kväll, fredagskvällen hade den bästa maten! Massor av underhållning under dagen och kvällarna, men vi måste gå upp tidigt för att hämta solstolar! Sammantaget nöjda med vår vistelse och rekommenderar den :)

Jag var besviken på det här hotellet. Vi började med ett mycket dåligt rum, vilket de ändrade inom en dag. Min första begäran om en drink avvisades och det var en grekisk kaffe. Baren debiterade sedan extra för en dubbel espresso. (Maskinen i scenområdet gjorde espresso.) Det fanns tillräckligt med solstolar men de var fullpackade från tidigt på morgonen. De stod sida vid sida runt poolen med lite ledigt utrymme. Jag hittade vanligtvis ett parasoll på betongen vid poolerna i nordöstra hörnet av området. All aktivitet sker runt poolen och är bullrig. De har några nya pooler med rum ovanför i sydvästra änden av hotellet. Dessa såg trevligare, tystare och borta från folkmassorna ut. Maten hade enstaka specialiteter men var generellt av kantinklass, mycket konserver och fryst. Ofta väldigt långsam att fylla på när serveringen tömdes. All personal verkade arbeta hårt och var trevlig, och det städades mycket i de allmänna utrymmena. Den enda baren var den runda i poolen. "Personalen serverades" från vänster ände på bilden. Köerna var korta, sittplatserna var på bryggan när man närmade sig baren eller runt baren. Baren i receptionen och matsalen öppnade aldrig. De tände ljuset runt 19:00. Rökt, vit och rosévin plus öl, te och kaffe, samt kalla läsk fanns tillgängliga för självservering vid scenområdet. Lätta snacks serverades klockan 16:00 i samma område. Den grekiska restaurangen serverade gyros och pommes frites under större delen av dagen och pizza "hut" serverade liknande tider. Det finns ett antal rum vid entrén till hotellet som vetter mot gatan eller gården som också är parkeringsplatsen. Rökning, i scenområdet som också fungerade som uteservering, var vanligt eftersom det låg runt poolen. Kände mig aldrig riktigt bekväm här eftersom jag inte tyckte att det var avkopplande.

Everything was great and everyone was lovely. Lydia Maris is in a very good location with a bus stop right outside the hotel, the buses are regular and cheap to use. The staff at the hotel are amazing they all work so hard, a special mention to the animation team. Alex, Gustavo, Evalina and Mike where non stop constantly making people laugh, they're the best! The food was plentiful, no reason for anyone to go hungry and dining areas kept clean and tidy. Not forgetting the Gyros lady and pizza man who worked very hard. Our room was cleaned thoroughly house keeping provided Clean towels and bedding daily. We will definitely be back again

Just retuned from a lovely family holiday to Lydia Maris . The hotel was lovely and clean. All the staff are amazing from cleaners bar staff restaurant staff , reception and entertainment team . A lovely touch when we arrived late a cold buffet and drinks for us before we went to bed . A handy bus stop over the road that went to Rhodes Lindos and various others and a free bus to the waterpark going 10am and returning 5pm from bus stop opposite supermarket up the road . Mike and Gustavo take you nightclubbing in Falaraki on a Monday and Thursday if you like partying. Food was lovely especially Mexican night and peppered beef . Lots of variety . Entertainment team were really good fun and kept you occupied with waterpolo aqua aerobics table tennis and darts if you wanted to join in . Thank you all for a wonderful holiday and we will definitely be back in the future.

OK, so in my honest opinion, not a 5 star hotel judging by normal standards, we stayed in Mexico for a week last December and it was worlds apart but it's a different country and culture so it's not fair to compare them, but definitely a 4 star, and a very good one at that. The food was hit and miss, but due more to our individual tastes than the quality of the food. You're never going to please everyone all the time with buffets in all inclusive hotels, and I won't mark you down because of it. The variety was very good, the pizza and gyros stations were great and we never went hungry. The room was probably a 4.5 out of 5, we had some issues with lights randomly working then not, but it didn't affect us too much. The only mild annoyance was the air conditioning, which only works when the key card is in the slot. This is fine when you're in the room of course, but when there's 30+ degree heat every day and you're out for most of it, it feels like a sauna when you come back and the air con takes a while to cool the place down again. The thing that made this truly one of the best holidays I've ever had though was the Animation entertainment team. From the very first time we met them, Alex, Evelina, Gustavo and Mike made us feel like family, and the shows and games they put on were first rate. I cannot praise them highly enough for the job they do and are an absolute credit to the hotel. Would absolutely love to return and see them all again, and if we can manage it next year then we'll have to have a big party, but perhaps they don't want us to be neighbours again 🤣🤣🤣 P.S - If you can pass my compliments onto them, please tell them Ryan and Charlotte remembered to leave a review!!

Definitely not a 5 star hotel which its claimed to be. The room was dirty and the food was disappointing. Not a whole lot of choice with it being poor quality. Dinner time felt like musical chairs trying to find somewhere to sit with the whole experience feeling chaotic with the staff looking stressed and overworked, including at the bar. This is not a criticism of the staff as they were all very good, with lots of reviews praising the entertainment team who deserve a shout out. Would also mention the gyros lady was excellent. Overall we were expecting a 5 star hotel experience after seeing some good reviews and good pictures on the booking site, but felt deceived after spending over £2500. Please be cautious of this when booking as some of the reviews make out that this place is 5 star quality and the pictures on the booking sites make out that the hotel is modern and clean which it’s not. I would rate this hotel 3 stars, please don’t claim to be 5 star and deceive your guests.
