Lindos Imperial Resort & Spa

Positives Good resort overall. We had a great week’s holiday, we felt relaxed and enjoyed our stay. Great for families! The resort is big and spread out so felt like each day was different as we could move around the resort and try different pools. The rooms with pools looked great! We didn’t have one, we had a family room. But would probably book a pool room next time if we come back. The resort is on the beach so you can go there as well as the pool. There is a beach restaurant so everything to hand. The beach is pebbly. Not a negative but if you want a nice sandy beach then this is not. We had to get beach shoes to wear in the sea. The sea was good for snorkelling. Even for the less experienced as quite a few fish in the shallows. Our 5 year old son was able to use the snorkel to see in the shallows. The food was great, a varied buffet with good choices. Slight negative on the kids vegetable options but on the whole we ate well for a week! The 5pm - 1am crepe and ice cream bar was great, a lot of respect for the staff who manned that station every day! A small queue there almost the whole time! Staff were friendly, and the entertainment was fairly good. Standard resort entertainment. The magic show was good and every night had a kids disco. Rooms were nice and clean, comfy bed and plenty of towels provided. The kids room was near the room entrance, so they had more of a noisy room. The shower was great, a nice big walk in shower, which was non slip. Great for family showers with the kids. Good scenery around the hotel, very picturesque. Got up and saw the most amazing sunrises, as our room was facing in the right direction. Not so good for sunset views as most rooms facing in the opposite direction but the sunrises made up for that. Negatives If you are mobility impaired you might struggle with the resort as it’s on quite a steep hill. The activity pool and amphitheater are quite a long uphill walk. There are golf buggies around which I assume are to help people get around (we didn’t get one but we could see them). You have to book the gym in advance, you can’t just go when you want to. As a gym user I found this a little restricting as I could never book an early morning session, also the sessions were for 45 minutes only. Once booked (I got a slot at 4pm and then at midday on another day), the gym was ok. And booking meant it was never full, so you had it to yourself pretty much. It was not a top of the range gym but had a barbell, weights, kettlebells, cable machine (a bit worn down) and treadmills. So enough to do a good workout. Some of the rooms were noisy, we had children running back and forward outside our room a lot at nighttime after 11pm. We were 3109 which was by the lift lobby so possibly why. It didn’t bother us too much but if you want a quieter room then opt for something away from the main lobby. Also stay away the sea side bar - the rooms around there looked like they might be noisy as there was music

The hotel has a well-arranged area, cottages with mini pools and sea views. Nice greenery and pools. Great weather, peace and quiet. Friendly and helpful service. Very tasty and varied food.

great resort we stopped in the breezes area 6000 block suite with private pool we used the relax pool in the morning and headed to the beach after lunch. the main buffet restaurant was fantastic with many choices for all tastes. we trued the fish restaurant a la carte abd Italian with were really good overall a lovely relaxing break

Good things: The hotel had great swimming pools and the fact that there were always sun loungers available. The room was good. Bad things: 1. Generally the staff was classless. Unclear communication. No answers to questions. No adherence to agreed matters. Not even a hint of a smile. 2. The food was classless in the main restaurant. The same tasteless food except for a small variation. It was not clear anywhere what the theme of the food was. The water in the hotel was so bad that we had to buy our own bottled water. 3. The ala carte restaurant was light years behind what you get from a good ala carte restaurant. Fresh food and exceptionally good service. 4. The entertainment shows caused boredom, disbelief, embarrassment and you couldn't tell if it was a comedy show or if they were serious when the hotel's own (non-professional) team tried to put on different shows. 5. The hotel had long distances from one place to another and you couldn't go out at night because of the mosquitoes. Total: I wouldn't come back to this hotel even if I could get a quarter of the price. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The most incredible holiday we have ever had! We stayed at Lindos Imperial Resort and SPA whilst we were in Greece to get married and it was the most beautiful hotel! The staff were so incredibly accommodating and the room was stunning. We had our own private pool which was gorgeous! 22 of us in total stayed over by course of 10 days and all of us had nothing but nice things to say! To the point, as soon as we got back to the Uk we were looking at booking again for next year! Thank you for all you did for us. Mr and Mrs Clark x

This hotel was incredible, it really exceed my expectations. It is so clean, everyone is really welcoming and it is in a great location. I cannot fault anything about this hotel and would recommend and return in a heart beat. Food: The food In the main buffet area is always warm and tasty across breakfast, lunch and dinner. It is spotless around the dining area with people cleaning regularly. I cannot fault anything in the main buffet. You also have a choice of sitting outside or inside, and there are always plenty of seats to choose from. We never struggled finding anywhere to sit. The food in the A La Carte restaurants was incredible. My favourite being the Steakhouse. I never had any trouble booking these, and the service in them by all the teams was fantastic. Pool: We mainly used the main pool but we did visit the relax pool and activity pool when we were having a walk around site they both looked lovely too. In the main pool there was never any issues finding a sun bed, there were always some free at any point throughout the day. The pool areas and pool were clean and never too busy either. Facilities: The shop on site is great, honestly has everything you need at a fair price. There are plenty of toilets located around the site including ones near the pool. They look freshly renovated and are cleaned regularly. Bars: We only used the main pool bar and main lobby bar and both of these were fantastic. The nighttime main lobby bar staff are honestly amazing including the severs. Thank you to all at these bars for your service during our stay Room: Our room was spotless and when we asked for it to be cleaned as you have to request it via a snazzy panel on your door. It was always done and left spotless too. I much preferred this way of requesting a room clean. But massive thank you to the cleaning team across the whole site the place is spotless. Reception: This team really deserves a massive thank you, they welcomed us into the hotel and really made us feel welcome throughout our whole stay. Nothing was too much for them and they were always smiling. Entertainment: We mainly stayed in the main lobby bar which had live music, but we did go up to the amphitheater a couple of nights where pink wave put on entertainment shows. This team do work hard and I know there is a lot of activities on throughout the day for adults and kids. Robert the chief entertainer is full of energy and runs a great team. In summary, this hotel really exceeded all my expectations and I am so thankful to everyone at the Lindos Imperial team for creating us such a beautiful stay. Ignore any bad reviews, because they clearly weren’t staying in the same hotel as us! Thank you
