Myself and my partner spent a week in the Cook’s club early autumn this year and the whole experience was one of the best we ever had. Amazing food and set up of the hotel, easy to access and cocktails to die for. Definitely we will visit a different location from the same chain. Thank you Cooks Club.

The hotel was spotless througout and at all times as were the rooms with sheets changed every couple of days. Rooms had coffee making facilities, fridge, hair dryer, AC and free of charge in room safe. Beds are comfy (had no problem sleeping). Food - breakfast has plenty of choice (hot and cold) self service. Pool bar has a great selection of food and snacks (pizza, pasta, salads, burgers & gyros plates etc). Main restaurant offerings were of good quality and generally reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard. Drinks - on the negative side there was limited draft beers and tonic was in the main on the flat side although you can pay a small surcharge for premium tonics. Prices reflect the standard of the hotel. Location - realistically it is a 20 min walk to either Lalysos or Kremasti bars and taverns, it is a safe walk to either with illuminated pavements. Although we came right at the end of the season and a lot of taverns had closed, there was no shortage of places to eat in either villages, i would certainly recommend Yanis's in Kremasti (see seoarate review). Transport - we used a mix of transport (Taxi, car rental and bus) all were as expected. Car hire from the hotel (free parking) at comparable prices, taxis at around €20 into and from the main terminal area of Rhodes Town. The buses (which run into Rhodes Town every 15mins or so) are clean and easy to use. UNLIKE other previous reviews i have seen, the buses are contactless payment NOT CASH, we couldn't actually work out the prices as the tickets show €3 each but in checking bank account we were only ever charged less than €1 for two of us (not sure if tourists are subsidised). As i said earlier, we came at the end of the season, there was more than ample sunbeds available at any time of day, the sun would dissappear behind trees at just after 3:00pm. Would we come back - Definitely as the quality of hotel outweighs the walk to most bars and taverns.

I have decided to remove my earlier review in response to Cooks Club reply. The location is very poor & there is less around than any of the descriptions say. In response to what Cooks Club have said in reply to my earlier review , stating clearly laid out descriptions…. It’s stated the pool is heated in October , it is not ! Pool parties advertised on Saturday & Sunday , didn’t happen ! No Top DJs as advertised in the description on all websites . No entertainment whatsoever! We can understand a more expensive drink in the evening if there is entertainment of some kind. But there is nothing & therefore Cooks Club is monopolising its location & over charging on drinks. As I said the staff are efficient & the rooms are modern . But please Cook Club don’t come back with a reply, stating what the description says, when you yourselves are not meeting the obligation of what you have described! Still not very impressed & guests are actually forced out in the evening as there is nothing to do at Cooks Club ! Not the swinging atmosphere advertised is it ?

We’ve just returned from 10 days at Cooks Club Ialyssos. The hotel is lovely and modern, however there were a few things that could improve it for us personally. The rooms themselves are very clean and spacious, however for us they are lacking a wardrobe / some drawers as all that’s provided is a small rail with a few hangers so we had to live out of a suitcase. The aircon in our room didn’t really work - we did report it but were told the doors have to be closed and locked but even then after a couple of hours it reverted back so throughout the night it was a bit warm! They do provide a mini fridge and amenities, with fresh towels and pool towels changed daily, but do lack an iron - requiring you to pay per item of clothing for something to be ironed - so I’d suggest bringing a steamer or travel iron! Final point for the room, the TVs don’t have any English channels other than news - you can log into YouTube, there is an option for screen mirroring your phone to the TV but this didn’t work for us as they both need to be on the same WiFi network and we were obviously using the guest (and everything was in Greek so we were perhaps missing a few instructions!) For us it wasn’t a huge issue as we were out most nights but if anyone likes to have a chilled night in then I’d suggest a fire stick! The pool area is great to relax, the sunbeds and bean bags are comfy and there is good music playing throughout the day with a pool party on the weekends too (which just involved a DJ playing for a few hours). The only downside is how much the sunbeds are in the shade - there is only a small section that gets the sun all day although not sure if this is due to the time of year! There is a wide selection of options for breakfast and the pool/restaurant food is lovely, although my partner did end up with food poisoning twice after eating at the hotel, and our friend also did too - so we limited our options to the vegetarian options the majority of the days after this. I will say food poisoning seems to be a common theme in Greece and not limited to this hotel - it’s just unfortunate both instances were after only eating here. The location of the hotel was the other downside for us, there’s not much within walking distance other than a couple of restaurants, but it’s really easy to order a taxi from reception and it’s only 20 mins and between 20-30 euros into Rhodes / Old town or Falaraki - and the taxis take both card and cash. We did notice there was another Cooks Club in Rhodes centre which might be a better option for those wanting more to do outside of the hotel within walking distance! However it is only 10 mins to the airport!

We went on October 2024 to Cook's Club Ialysos. It was an excellent vacation. First of all the reception was so kind for early check-in & check-out. Weather was 29-30 degrees so we enjoyed sunbathing at the pool side. The rooms are comfortable , clean , full of amenities with bohemian interior design. We loved the interior design, architectural design & landscape with nice outdoor lighting. Everything is so well designed. The hotel is located in a nice green landscape with tall trees & mountain view at the background. You can absolutely feel the tranquility with silence. Staff was so friendly , nice & kind. The restaurant has a great menu with affordable prices. Katafaki risotto prawns was so delicios. We enjoyed the salads as well. We had sushi night as well with delicious menu. The bar is also so good with cocktails and cold drinks. DJ was amazing, we enjoyed the great music on Saturday & Sunday till 12.00 to 15.00. There is a nice small gym open to landscape with Technogym equipments. There is a bus station close to hotel going to Rhodes Old Town. It costs 3 euro per person. You can pay by credit card. It is so frequently passing. You can have the timetable from the reception. Taxi costs app. 20 euro. It takes app. 15-20 minutes to old town. There are several nice beachs close in the area. You can go to Lindos from Rhodes Old Town by an other bus as well. It costs 5.5 euro per person. We enjoyed our vacation so much. Hope to come again. Thank you for everything!
