Pefkos Garden

Just returned from 13 nights here. The hotel facilities are definitely 4 star......We had a pool/sea view room in block 8. Rooms , restaurant, pool area were exceptionally clean.Rooms are small, but adequate with plenty of storage space & average sized balcony.The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. However, the food let's this restaurant down, always Luke warm & cheaper cuts of meat used ie lots of pork, chicken drumsticks, lots of stews & very repetitive.Even going for lunch when it opened at 12.30 the food was barely warm. The evening pool bar let's this hotel down, all drinks served in plastic beakers ....WHY ? I understand in the daytime around the pool but not at night. We did not eat or drink one evening during our 13 nights stay, ate out every night as it simply wasn't good enough, we did venture into the restaurant at night to have a look , but the choice & quality simply wasn't good enough. It really is a shame as the staff are lovely, location & facilities are very good , but the food & drinks let it down. If you can get a really good deal where it's not much more cost for the AI then I would say book, if not then be prepared to pay extra on top for meals & drinks We booked this 10 months ago & after reading recent reviews regarding food luckily we were prepared to pay the extra cost on eating out at night I would say with a few tweaks to the food & drinks this hotel could be 'Premium ' as advertised

Me and my boyfriend came here for 6 nights and we had an amazing time. We saw some bad reviews but honestly cannot understand them. The food was honestly really good, there was options for fussy eaters like myself and for people with wide variety such as my boyfriend. The drinks were good, the hotel room was clean, modern and just like the photos, there was plenty of sunbeds constantly, the bed was comfty and most importantly all of the staff were lovely, especially louise behind the bar. Honestly cannot complain, even when we couldn’t figure out the aircon the same day someone sorted it for us. Thank you for an amazing week!

Lovely hotel rooms really clean and air con free of charge. No rush for sunbeds either at this time of year anyway. Food Great and alcohol drinkable. Mixed nationalities and everyone friendly. Louise and Alma who work the bar are fantastic always smiling and very helpful. Would come back in a minute

Decent room even if small, clean with good air con. Wet-room style bathroom meant bathroom floor was soaking wet for hours after showering. Sewage-like smell outside of room and by pool would often come and go and was very unpleasant. Pool area otherwise was nice, good amount of sunbeds and decent sized pool. Pool bar food and drink selection was average - drinks were alright but very little choice. Snack food at the bar was very hit or miss. Restaurant food on the other hand was consistently poor. Hardly warm, awful variety and just really bad quality. Had to spend the money on eating out a couple of times because otherwise we'd dread eating at the restaurant! Staff were helpful, reception more than happy to organise taxis to and from airport / other towns.

Nice hotel with modern room.. We came late at night and we were given a bag of food with water , we appreciated this a lot... The cocktails werent good quality but overall was decent . Food in dinner was well cooked and exceptional, good decent choices .. Morning buffet was good with many choices too.. We ate lunch 2 times only mostly because we were travelling to see the island but it wasnt something special.. Our stay was enjoyable and pefkos is a nice small town ..

We stayed here for 7 nights as a family of 6, with 3 rooms. 2 of which were advertised to be ‘sea view’, was a view of the block in front and a tiny bit of the sea. The food was shocking the whole stay, not much choice and very questionable options, we were all inclusive and had to eat out most nights! The pool area and pool bar was great can’t complain about this. Entertainment only 3 days a week which isn’t ideal. The worst part of this was, The staff accommodation house is next door to the hotel and 2 nights in a row we were walking through town back to hotel and one of the restaurant staff members would drive along, staring at us and revving his car and driving so quickly as if he was going to hit us. He would follow us and do circles of the same road. We complained to reception and they admitted this was a member of staff. Due to this we felt very unsafe going to sleep especially since the rooms don’t have a thumb lock or any way to lock from the inside. Drinks were ok didn’t like the fact you had to pay 5 euro for an average mojito. On the website it was advertised that the lobby bar is included in the all inclusive but when we tried to use it we got told we had to pay for drinks as simple as water. Lovely location and we have been staying in pefkos before and will be back but unfortunately not this hotel
