Lovely stay friendly couple that run it was very friendly couldn’t do enough for us made us feel very welcome had a lovely chat with them they gave us great advice about places to go and eat. The room was lovely and well equipped comfy beds. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to friends and family

Visited on Father's Day for Sunday Lunch, food wasn't amazing but was edible. What I really liked was the atmosphere in the bar area, staff are clearly very close and also have fun with the locals. It is a pleasure to see a community pub that likes to have fun compared to the other boring pubs in the area. Will be coming back for drinks again!

Didn't enjoy the sunday lunch very much but the drink selection was great, a huge number of bottles that made up for the food. The bar staff and owner were great fun and clearly had a good sense of humour. Shout out to Freddie & Paighton for making it a memorable day and we will be back very soon!

The new bar menu was exceptional and at a great price, much better then previous expensive menus. The bar staff really make the experience as they are full of life and understand how important customer service is - I will be back!

Great selection of drinks. I chose a sweet strawberry Welsh cider. Loved the new bar area. Really friendly bar staff. Will definitely be back!

Came here while on holiday and had Sunday lunch. The food was nice, stayed for some drinks and it was an experience. It is so good to see a team who enjoy working with each other so much - very rare these days.

Used to come here but previous owners made us feel unwelcome, the new owner is a fun and welcoming guy who goes out of his way to ensure customers and his bar staff are well looked after.

What an improvement, the new team have worked hard to turn it from a dying venue to a place for everyone. Food was good but the drinks and bar experience was the highlight for us.

We walked to this pub for food however the kitchen wasn’t available to produce food for us. One of the very friendly locals suggested we ordered a Chinese and ate in the pub. Which we did. They gave us plates and cutlery and cleared up after us. We stayed for drinks and drank with the local Welsh fellas and had a good laugh. Shame there was no food but they allowed us to make the best of the situation. All the best for the future. Thanks.
