Tuisuneo la Conchiglia - Adults Only

I arrived at the hotel on Saturday evening and experienced some confusion during check-in. The room I paid for had a beach view and was modern and comfortable, but the live music at the pool was loud and played until midnight every night. We requested a quieter room but were offered a downgrade and told we had to decide quickly due to limited availability. The new room had an uncomfortable bed, and we could still hear the music. We received a voucher for the inconvenience, but it didn't solve our issues. Despite the hotel's efforts to improve our experience, including offering free massages and a Tui voucher, the ongoing noise and discomfort persisted from the above-mentioned construction noise. The day trip we went on was enjoyable, and we appreciated the effort from the tour guide. The spa experience, however, was not as smooth as expected. Mid massage, he asked one of us, 'How is your room?' while his hand was trying to massage my neck… a somewhat strange reminder while attempting to relax that we were getting a complimentary massage, which appeared threatening. Once he had finished that strange back massage, we left the room to be somewhat ushered out of the spa, which closed shortly after departing. One of us (the female in the party) felt very uncomfortable as the masseuse stayed in the room while she unrobed (she did have a bikini on, luckily). He also undid her bikini top while she was lying down on the massage table and did it up afterwards without asking.

Lovely Hotel, lovely staff was last week if the season so weather on last day was a bit grey, but otherwise OK for sun worshippers, pool was cool for same reason, but still swam, sea was also OK for swimming. TUI Boat trip was great. Captain produced white wine on way back. Food wasn't Michelin standard, but for £500 pp for 7 nights we eat well - probably too well. Room was good standard and made up daily. TUI coach trip to lighthouse, Tropea and Pizzo very informative, maybe a bit long for us.

The waiting staff and chefs make this hotel. We had a great time - the food was delicious and varied but I would have liked to see more Calabrian dishes. Freshly made omelette for breakfast was wonderful - made by Carla. Fresh pasta sauces daily - plenty of seafood. The entertainment was dour whilst we were there - no live music as billed - only the entertainment staff- Greta was OK but the man (sorry don't know his name) was terrible. He tried to bully people into activities by calling them lazy or boring because they just wanted to relax by the pool. One night for entertainment we had bingo and another musical chairs - we though we were in playschool! Our room was beautiful with views out to Stromboli and the other islands (when clear) and the sunsets were lovely. Would we return? Yes probably but it was a 95 minute transfer which isn't great after a 3 and a half hour flight

Wow , this place is paradise. The staff are so friendly and helpful, a big thank you to Gateoni, and Grete for our fab entertainment, Pino for is fab voice on an evening, Marianna for her beautiful smile and fun, also a big thank you to all the chefs for your amazing food , and all the staff in the dinning room. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The shuttle bus to the beautiful beach is a brilliant service , the walk down to the beach is about 10 minutes and is very accessible, but shuttle recommend on the way back up. The sunsets here over Stromboli are amazing every evening. Would highly recommend a trip to Tropia , as the train station is a 10 min walk from Hotel, takes 10 minutes on the train to the beautiful town. The staff in reception can’t do enough for you. Stayed 27/7/24 to 3/8/24. After a fairly long transfer, tired from an early flight we were met with a smile, a bottle of water, aperitif and exemplary customer service. The staff make this hotel. They are so friendly and welcoming from day one to the last day. They all work tirelessly to ensure your stay is phenomenal, which it was. The resort is clean and comfortable set in a beautiful location and Wow what sunsets you get every evening over looking Stromboli. Utterly stunning and beautiful. Food is excellent, well prepared and lots of choice. I’m usually not a fan of all inclusive but this hotel made it for me. Plenty of local cuisine, ensure you try the sweet red onions and Nduja. A good choice of inclusive drinks with red/white wine, Peroni and some cocktails on tap. Our room, one of the comfort terraced rooms was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The two swimming pools are warm and pleasant to use. We never had an issue getting a sun bed. We spent a lot of the relaxing days on the beach which is a five min walk down a steep hill which didn’t bother me even when walking back up. The beach is beautiful and the sea turquoise blue and warm. Again, no issues getting a sun bed. You are issued a card to use the beach club and get drinks/snacks on tic which we paid at the end of the week. We went on three trips out into the the local area. A day at a cheese farm making pasta, watching cheese being made and drinking wine. A day out on the train to Scilia, which is a beautiful coastal town to visit and worth the trip. Trains are good and cheap. The local station at Ricardi is about a ten min walk from the hotel. Our last trip was a night cruise to Stromboli. Stunning to see an active volcano. Overall a memorable holiday and would definitely recommend this resort. Thank you to the staff for making our holiday so amazing, they a really are fantastic people.

Wow! What a gem! There were 10 in our party (ages 19, 20, 24, 24, 25, 25, 26, 57 & 57) and we all had an absolutely fantastic week here. The hotel was small, which meant we never had an issue with sunbeds / umbrellas and the bar queue was always relatively small, the rooms were clean, the staff were friendly, and the food was excellent. Also, Peroni on tap until midnight!!! The entertainment was at the end of the pool which made for a great atmosphere. The nearby beach was clean, the sea was warm and there was a minibus laid on for those that did not like the steep walk back. We enjoyed a fab day out in Tropea (15 min walk to train station and two stops on the train for 1.8 Euro!) which has Italian charm and provides excellent elevated views over the coast. We enjoyed fun times in the pool, beach and the Paddle court (look it up). Great pool party on the Thursday night run by the fantastic Gaetano who is full of life and energy. He certainly added to our holiday experience, what a friendly guy! There was also a quiet pool, however we did not find any necessity to go there. We really could not fault this place especially the beautiful sunsets every evening. Thanks goes out to the wonderful ladies on reception, the entertainment team Gaetano and Sonia, the bar staff including Giovanni, Francesco and co, especially for taking the time to help me practice my Italian and laughing with me along the way! Thanks also to the fab chefs for the amazing food and the restaurant staff for their smiley service. A wonderful family holiday to remember forever. If you are thinking of booking – go for it, you won’t be disappointed.
