We arrived to Richard’s Bay on November the 14th. Somebody in behalf of Nyathi Lodge picked us up from the airport to “an random accommodation”. These people left us in some “unknown” apartments that were not Nyathi Lodge. They gave us some keys to some apartments and left us abandoned. They left us neither a phone number nor a contact and then we realized we were not in Nyathi Lodge. Furthermore, they left us no beds for all reservations, no the room types we booked, no pool, no bar or any other commodities. The worst thing was that no one gave us explanations as to why we were not staying in the place where we had booked, and paid in advance, since May. We can only say that we were ripped off for the accommodation, and no explanations or refunds. A few days later, one of us contacted someone from Nyathi Lodge and she was told that other guests had taken our rooms, overbooking. Surprisingly, we booked in May. Attention future clients: avoid this accommodation as Nyathi Lodge can dispose of your reservation. They consider clients in two categories: first and second class. As far as we experienced, we were considered (and you can be) second class client.
