Richmond Hill Hotel

Super nice hotel, all staff are friendly. Stunning view at the top of Richmond Hill, room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely go back.

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is quintessentially English. It is clean. The location is safe - but not a ton of sights in close proximity. The food is good - not great. The rooms vary - the one I was in, was compact but had everything I needed. The beds were comfortable. The best part of this hotel is the restaurant/bar manager, Patricia. She is amazing! Very hospitable and kind. I look forward to coming back and hopefully seeing Patricia again. She’s a gem!

We only booked the basic room, as we knew we wouldn’t be spending much time in it, however it was still lovely. Comfortable bed, wonderful shower. Tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water (included in the room cost). Plenty of plugs (& by both sides of the bed), usb ports and a wireless charger, hairdryer and safe. Plus a plug near the mirror (the amount of rooms who don’t have this, which is always a pain when you’re trying to dry your hair with a hairdryer). The staff on reception and in the dining area were wonderful. We arrived about 12, and even though check in wasn’t until 3 a room was available which was a great way to start the weekend. Parking was also included in the price, when we arrived there were plenty of spaces, although when we left there weren’t too many free. Our package included dinner, bed and breakfast, the food was fantastic at both meals (I’ll review the restaurant separately), plenty of choice at breakfast…hot food, plus the normal cereals, but also various yogurts, fruits, pastries, a very high standard. The location was perfect too, we walked into Richmond via the river, also navigated the buses to Hampton Court Palace, stopping at Kingston upon Thames on the return. Overall a wonderful stay and highly recommended.

Fantastic Hotel in the heart of Richmond (U.K) Great Staff everyone so helpful and wonderful. Breakfast is outstanding. Attention to detail is unmatched. Location is beautiful. Rooms are so clean and nicely decorated. Shops are within walking distance.

Lovely hotel, clean, spacious and well-decorated. Service was fantastic, too. The front desk manager, Tushar took the time to make suggestions and reservations for sight-seeing as well as restaurants and transportation. He really went out of his way to be sure we would see all the sights! The restaurant had delicious choices, my personal fav was the beet salad on the lunch buffet! But there were lots of other delicious choices. Dinner (lamb shank and sea bass) were some of the best we’ve ever had. The location to the Park and downtown Richmond was outstanding. Richmond Park blew us away with the scenery, deer, and hiking. Absolutely stunning.

I booked the Richmond hill Hotel for one night for easy and close access to Richmond Park. I am a photographer and I wanted to return to the park to photograph the deer. The hotel is really nice. It’s cosy yet modern with a homely feel. The room was lovely and the bed extremely comfy. I stayed in the Georgian room with balcony and free standing bath tub. I enjoyed a delicious steak meal at 144 On The Hill (the hotels restaurant). The staff were all lovely - extremely friendly, helpful, welcoming and approachable. After a few hours spent photographing the deer from sunrise, I returned to the hotel for breakfast. I was very impressed with the amount of food on offer at the buffet, the quality of the food as well as the variety. One of the best, if the not the best buffet breakfast i've ever had at a hotel. I plan on returning to Richmond park on a regular basis and I will definitely book the Richmond Hill hotel again when I do.
