The Richmond Arms Hotel foton

A wonderful historical Pub in the heart of Richmond TAS, the Richmond Arms Hotel built in 1888 after a fire destroyed the original pub was lovely to stay in for a night. They have a great selection of beers, wines & cider and a great menu for lunch & dinner. Roast Pork & vege’s was amazing. The accomodation is very basic, room comes with a TV and a few toiletries. The bathrooms need an upgrade and the shower needs a good bleaching. But overall, if you love old historical pubs this one is for you.

Check in was easy. Room was clean with a lovely garden and lake view. Water was provided for seperate drinking which was appreciated. Highly recommend the restaurant also! Delicious food and cosy vibes.

Very spacious. Good location. Only downside is there’s no reception.

The Richmond Arms Hotel is an impressive heritage building set in this historic town. The room itself is quite comfortable but with shared bathroom facilities. There was quite a delay in checking in as the room was not ready but the bar compensated with a complimentary beverage. The hotel is very popular for lunch and dinner with guests and other customers and the food quality and variety is high. I was very grateful for the staff’s assistance when I misplaced my bank card. The only odd thing was that they featured only American sports on the large TV’s in the lounge but no one seemed to notice or care.

入住Vine家庭房，打開房門，兩居室的房間雖然屋頂矮但也乾淨舒適，特別是洗手間，比傳統Motel要新。但是，在樓下餐廳用完餐回到房間後打開燈，等洗完澡出來，主卧室滿屋頂的小蟲，床上也有。原來是窗户有縫隙，即使在窗户關閉的情況下，小蟲子看見燈光就飛進來了。一晚上就滅蟲了。遺憾的是在攜程的溝通下酒店方面聲稱天氣熱自然會有小蟲子，正常現象。請入住此房間的客人進房間後務必先拉窗簾，以免小蟲見到燈光蜂擁而至。

房間很大，床不錯的，很有特色！
