Mari Pop Hotel

This is an amazing hotel and is really one-of-a-kind! We stumbled across it when looking for hotels with vegan options, and the food was the main reason for us choosing to stay here. We were certainly not disappointed! We stayed in a half board basis, but the hotel also puts out a lunch/cake buffet, included in the half board price. The breakfasts had a good selection, with many vegan options. The dinners were the real stars of the show, though. Each night we were served a four or five course vegan meal, each course delicious! The options were varied each day and all original, creative and really tasty! We were staying in the guest house. The room was really nice with a balcony. The only slight issue was that it was unseasonably hot while we were staying and there is no air conditioning in the guest house, so it was quite hot in our room, but it wasn’t a great problem. I’d recommend staying in the main building in the summer months for this reason. We enjoyed the swimming pools and spa facilities, particularly the sauna and quiet room on the top floor. Staff were perfectly polite and helpful, despite our limited German. The location is quiet and peaceful but easily accessible using train or bus. We will definitely recommend to others and will hope to return ourselves!

Where do I start? My sister and I visited Mari Pop for a few nights as part of our Europe trip. It was such a nice respite from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. From the moment we checked in, we were taken such good care of. The reception staff is amazing and very on top of things. I had been wanting to check out Mari Pop because I'm vegan and heard good things about their vegan food options. Let me tell you, I've been to several vegan-friendly hotels where the options are decent, but Mari Pop's are above and beyond. From the full breakfast spread (vegan butter, yogurt, cheese, delicious pretzel rolls, etc.) to the 5-course vegan dinners, I definitely recommend opting for their half board package. Glad we did. I'd go back just for the food. Next, the design of the hotel is well thought out and beautiful. And lastly, the scenery is just gorgeous. We had a room with a deck overlooking the town and it was lovely. I will definitely be back!

14 night stay Jan/Feb 2022 Accommodation: I stayed in to guest house over from the main hotel. The room was compact ( my choice), but very well laid out and all fixtures and fittings to a high standard. Resturant: On a half board basis. Breakfast was continental, and all was to a high standard. Dinner consisted of 4 courses. I was pleasantly surprised by the chef’s efforts- over the 2 week stay. Each course was prepared well, with excellent attention to detail. Each dish contained hidden flavours and textures. Really well done, shows real passion. Staff: The staff were fantastic, keen to help with any request and offer advice. They even went the extra, when I forgot my travel adapter, and also when I had issues getting my return PCR test. In summary the tittle “boutique hotel” is well deserved. The Mari Pop goes above and beyond expectations.

We hebben 4 dagen geslapen in de dependance van dit hotel. Het ligt schuin tegenover het hotel. Prima kamer met balkon en mooi uitzicht. Badjas en handdoek liggen klaar voor de wellness. Helaas geen slippers. Die hadden ze ook niet te leen en ik was het vergeten. Heerlijk ontbijt en geweldig avondeten. Je vult je keuze van te voren in. Niets geen schnitzels met friet maar culinaire hoogstandjes. Daarnaast is de sfeer geweldig en de (achtergrond) muziek heerlijk. De wellness ligt nog in de oorspronkelijke kelder en deels buiten. Daar heeft de tijd een beetje stilgestaan maar dat vond ik juist leuk. Verder is het gemoderniseerd. De kamers in de dependance hebben ze ook wat gepimpt waardoor het niet oubollig is. De skibus stopt voor de deur en het gebied is groot en mooi. In het plaatsje zelf is niets te doen dus als je dat zoekt moet je hier niet zijn.

Ein Traum von einem kleinen, feinen, sehr sauberen Hotel. Absolut perfekter Service !!!, immer extrem aufmerksam und äußerst freundlich. Ein besonderes Lob an den Küchenchef Manuel - er hat meine Frau und mich 14 Tage mit einer absoluten Michelin sternewürdigen Halbpension in Haute cuisine, sowohl in vegan als auch klassisch, mit eigenen Bioanbau Produkten, verzaubert. Unser Aufenthalt war vom 15. - 29.06.2024. Wir kommen wieder. Der Aufenthalt war jeden Cent wert !!! Andreas und Michaela Seifried
