Villa Stella, Rinbudhoo

I am an Italian student and stayed at this property in January. It was all magnificent and perfect: from the breathtaking views, to the hospitality and kindness of the inhabitants and especially Haathie. In particular I am lactose intolerant and I really appreciated the attention dedicated to me! Thank you so much for the most beautiful experience of my life!

Villa Stella is the perfect place to experience the true local Maldives. The rooms are simple yet cozy, providing all the comfort you need. Hatie’s hospitality is exceptional—he’s incredibly kind, attentive, and always ready to help with anything you need. One of the highlights is the delicious local cuisine. Hatie serves traditional breakfasts, lunches, and dinners that make you feel right at home. The evenings are lively with music and karaoke, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. If you’re looking to explore the area, just ask Hatie—he’ll find the best solution for any activity or trip you want to take. I highly recommend Villa Stella to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the authentic local Maldivian experience!

I stayed 6 nights on this island but I must say… that was not enough and I will be back! Haathie and his little guesthouse and Rinbudhoo are a hidden gem in the Maldives. I was looking for a remote place where I feel like the island is just for myself… and this island gave me that feeling! The guesthouse is cute and cozy, close to the beach, the rooms are big and super clean and the breakfast is really delicious! Haathie is always happy to answer your questions and organize a tour to get to know the island, the culture and the atoll. I felt like home and staying here was really special for me. This island has a beautiful untouched nature, a beautiful lagoon with lots of corals and a cute village with very friendly people. The lagoon is beautiful and you can let your senses fly and just look all these beautiful colors here. If you love nature and like being alone on a remote little island in the middle of nowhere… then this is the place! Thank you!

Our stay at the guesthouse was amazing from.start to finish. We even extended our stay for an extra five days as we were enjoying the peace and tranquility of the island. Haathie was so accommodating to let us have a true Maldivian experience. Breakfasts were our favourite local food and were so tasty and fresh. We went on a couple of excursions and I was lucky to see oceanic mantas near the island. Being able to sit outside the guesthouse and relax on the beach each morning before breakfast was lovely. We will definitely be back again.

The villa is well maintained and the main selling point is its location. It is unlike no other and has the best reef that surrounds it. I would highly recommend staying here if you are looking for something more intimate, giving you a very exclusive and immersive feel.
