DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport recensioner

The location is just 10 minutes walk from Manchester Airport Terminal 1. The room is clean but there is no fridge at all. It is a bit out of expectation that the bar and restaurant in the hotel are actually look exactly as its conference halls, I think they just put tables and chairs there in café setting and make it the restaurant, no any decent lighting, furniture, decorations to boost an dining atmosphere, not even sounds like a place for breakfast. You can see from the picture the venue can be reverted back to a conference hall just removing the table sets. A bit disappointed for the dinner of the night's stay as it is at hotel pricing, food is just ok. If you don't want to eat in the hotel, there is nothing close by unless you travel to other areas, the closest walkable location is the airport or the train station.

Negatives: 1. Sewage smell all night in room 2. Shower gel empty 3. Shower location being side of the shower is unsafe and uncomfortable to shower 4. Shower is weak 5. Beds uncomfortable- mattress to lumpy and springy, pillows too soft 6. Blood on the single couch bed 7. Room for 3 but only accommodate for 2. Towels were OK, with a spare towel in the wardrobe 8. The room looked like it was used already that day 9. Charged us for parking and when enquired about airport shuttle she said there is also a charge for that. 10. Asked for toothbrush as my wife forgot hers but they said they don't have and said no shops nearby. Positives: 1. Staff friendly 2. Nice touch at checkin with the warm cookies 3. Also nice map by the elevators but why is Lebanon the only country on the map that is abbreviated as LEB? It's very strange ?? Definitely not a standard of 4 stars Double Tree. Maximum this location should be is 2 stars

We stopped here just got the night and honestly couldn’t fault. We came in and got free warm cookies the bed was SOOOO comfortable. Breakfast was really nice as well in the morning.

Nice cheap option when all the hotels in central Manchester were so expensive. Less than 5 mins walk to station and frequent trains into town. Didn’t spend much time here but bar service was great and rooms were clean and spacious. Buffet breakfast was very nice too

Hilton is always top-notched in terms of service, cleanliness and overall. Would definitely comeby here again. The check-in was smooth and as a gold member, i was given complimentary drinks and the cookies. The room was complete and had all the necessities.

Well appointed just 10 minutes to terminal 1 and 3.Hotel spotless breakfast very good quality and choice and staff very friendly and attentive.Good value all round.Room comfy pillows very comfy.

Greeted with a cookie but also a barrier blocking the corridor to my room (so I returned to reception and was given a different room).

Good place to stay before a flight. Only issue for me was that the room was too hot and couldn’t get it colder, despite the air con. Not the best night sleep. Location great though. Food in the restaurant was nice. Recommend the ragu. Drinks are very expensive in the bar for any liquor.

The service was exceptional from front of house to the dining room Very friendly and as a solo traveller this made it very welcoming The bed was comfy and nice and warm Already booked to return pre flight in January

Arrived at midnight, the walk from airport wasn’t bad took less than 10 mins.  Easy check in and a lovely warm cookie.  Can’t fault the hotel, had a lovely bath and bed really comfortable.  Breakfast was beautiful and lots to choose.  Would definitely book again.

Excellent location for Manchester airport flight, great accommodation and food. Professional and friendly staff all round but the service from Jitka in the restaurant made my stay especially enjoyable.

Lovely feel to the hotel. Staff very helpful. The bus takes you straight to the airport.

Lovely hotel next to the airport, about 10mins walk to the station and terminal. We stayed here the night before our flight and had a really comfortable stay!
