I always book premier inn wherever possible as usually the rooms are perfect and you get a relaxing break with a great nights sleep, but not on this occasion! The floor boards in our room made a squeaking noise while walking around the room, which wasn’t very relaxing, I asked if it would be possible to move rooms, but was told that they were fully booked! The lovely lady on reception said that they’d not had any complaints about this before! she asked if the noise was that loud? So I said would you like to come and listen, on coming to the room and hearing for herself, said that the building had wooden floorboards and that the hallways also made this noise too! we’d been in the room for about 10 or 15 minutes before going to reception and we’d needed to use the bathroom after the long drive! She said if we’d have come straight to her she could have swopped our room for another one, but she hadn’t got any house keeping to refresh our room as they’d now left for the day and didn’t have a spare room with being fully booked! The internet wasn’t working! there was also an issue with breakfast on this visit! We love a premier inn Breakfast they do an exceptional breakfast! We decided to have a late breakfast the next morning, as the fire alarm went off at around 4am! And after putting our shoes on and grabbing our coats we opened the door to join everyone else heading out of the building, only to be told thankfully that it was a false alarm. hence deciding on a late breakfast! But that morning we had to eat elsewhere! breakfast was due to finish at 11am with it being a Saturday, but on arriving for breakfast at 10.25 which would have been more than enough time to grab breakfast before service finished at 11am, we were informed that they actually closed the restaurant at 11am and would have to leave then! Even though breakfast is actually served till 11am!!! At previous visits to a number of premier inn’s they stop service at 11am and everything is cleared, but you then have time to finish eating! We’ve never come across this at any of the other premier inn eating establishments! So we had to find somewhere else to eat. So overall not a very relaxing stay

Friendly check in Wifi not working, could hardly use phone. Complained and the reception guy agreed, no working wifi so upgraded to premier wifi, still no wifi. Basic room, no fridge, half the room was vacant, very cold looking. Breakfast the following morning gets worse. Nobody to seat you so i sat myself down and got my breakfast for which i had paid when i booked the room. The manager apparently came up to me and asked me if i had paid for my breakfast when i said yes he went off to check. Came back and i said i was waiting for family he then told me i should have told them so i could be seated at that table so they would not have to re clean a table Shocking service i do not visit a restaurant to be told off and accused of not paying. Avoid

The staff here are the friendliest and most efficient of any Premier Inn I have stayed in The hotel is well placed, the breakfast was superb and I had 3 wonderful nights sleep. Cleanliness was also great and the bed excellent. The chambermaids were really helpful too.

Great nights sleep and a very comfortable bed..I would definitely recommend staying at the Ripley Premier Inn. Everything is around you the town is only seven minute walk. McDonald’s Next Door and of course Sainsbury’s… I will definitely be staying here again 👌

Great check in and service from reception. Clean, warm room and good breakfast in the pub next door. The WiFi is not the best speedwise but the receptionist did explain this is currently being upgraded to a different supplier and provided us with a free voucher to use the premium WiFi which much better

We arrived at the Ripley hotel only to discover that the ground floor room we had requested was no longer available. After entering our room (which was located on the first floor furthest away from the lift), we also discovered that the room was a double room, only not a twin. We returned to reception where both Pedro and Vicky were extremely helpful and were able to accommodate us on the ground floor after all, which was great! This was very important to us as my mother has limited mobility. Pedro assured us when we left the hotel that if we returned for another stay, he would ensure we were given a ground floor room which was great. I would highly recommend this hotel for a clean and comfortable stay.
