The Neeraj Ganga Heritage Palace

COCKROACH IN FOOD! I booked a stay at this "4-star heritage palace" only to get COCKROACH in my sambhar in the breakfast buffet. Fortunately I saw it. I wonder how many people must have eaten it without even realising. Post the traumatic incident, I started feeling uneasy, had stomach ache and also vomited. The way I had planned my day went for a toss! I had planned for rafting the next morning but due to food infection from contaminated food, I couldn’t go for rafting and also couldn’t eat anything after this incident. PLEASE BOOK A STAY ELSEWHERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND HYGIENE! At the same price, you can get better options and you’ll not be worried about your health and how your trip will get ruined if you eat something from the hotel.

The Neeraj Ganga Heritage Palace is right at the Ganga Ghat of Rishikesh and the location was perfect for exploring all of Rishikesh. Tapovan, Laxman Jhula, Geeta Press and Parmarth Niketan for evening Ganga Aarti were reachable in no time. Overall ambience of the property has heritage look and it provides a comfortable and enjoyable guest experience. Our Premier Ganga View Room, one floor above the reception area was large, comfortable, clean and had a sitting area facing the Ganga Ghat. The room was well equipped and the toiletries and tea bags and coffee sachets where of repeated brands. Our package included breakfast and dinner which had plenty of choices. The staff is incredibly friendly, responsive and efficient. Our stay was very enjoyable!!

We have not only had ganga view but also mountain view. Mountain is called Neelkanth parvath. Great applause to the CEO of the hotel. We had south Indian food like idli vada and masala dosai. The room service was good. Immediately after a ring they served a hot coffee in my room.

Nice and pleasant stay, very cordial staff, clean surroundings, and prompt service. The breakfast buffet was great and the view of the Holy Ganga mesmerizing. I would definitely recommend this place to my colleagues and friends to relax and unwind from the drudgery of daily life.

Staying at Neeraj Ganga Palace is the best way to see Rishikesh, take in the atmosphere of the Ganga ghat, and sense the place's commitment and spirituality. You directly step out on the ghats. They arrange private Morning and Evening Aarti, Yoga sessions that allows you to feel privileged. The rooms are comfortable, food is great and the staff is very courteous.

Very good experience staying in this hotel. There is nothing to not like given the hotel is on the banks of the Ganges, our room the Himalaya suite had a projected balcony like sit out that also served as a big bed. You can view the Parmarth sit right outside the room balcony where the aarti is done. The ghat off the back of the hotel is cleanly maintained. The hotel staff were pleasant and helpful. The food at the hotel was good as well. The hotel did not have a lift but then i guess it is a basement plus ground and 1st floor structure. Simple set up, all good.
