Hotel Ishan - A Ganges Riverside Retreat by Salvus

Peaceful spot by the river I recently stayed at Hotel Ishan and really liked the overall vibe of the place. It's close to Laxman Jhula but still feels peaceful once you're inside. My room was clean and comfortable, and having a balcony overlooking the Ganga made mornings extra special. The staff were friendly without being over the top , checkin was smooth and Anushka at the reception was welcoming whenever I had a question. What I also appreciated was that I could walk everywhere to the bridge, small temples, and even sit by the ghats in the evening without needing transport. After a day out, coming back to the quiet of the hotel felt perfect. Would happily stay here again.

We stayed at Hotel Ishan for two nights and really liked the homely vibe. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the view of the Ganga from the balcony was a highlight for us. Staff were kind and helpful , anushka at the front desk was always polite and easy to approach. The location is excellent; we could walk to the bridge, ghats, and plenty of small cafés nearby. Food at the hotel is decent, but we mostly enjoyed exploring local eateries. Overall, it felt safe, convenient, and good value for money.

This was my second visit to Rishikesh, though my first time trying Hotel Ishan. The property isn't big, but it has a very calm, easygoing atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable right away. Since I was traveling solo, I really valued how safe and welcoming It felt. My room was clean and faced the river starting the day with chal and that view was such a treat. The staff, including Anushka at the front desk, were polite and approachable whenever I had questions. The food is simple, light, and homely, which worked perfectly for me. The location is excellent only a short walk to Laxman Jhula, plenty of little cafés, and the ghats for evening Aarti. For anyone looking for a peaceful and well-located stay, this place is a great choice.

The location couldn't be better Just a short walk to Laxman Jhula and the riverbank. The food is homely and light, which I personally enjoyed more than heavy restaurant meals. Evenings at the hotel were quiet and relaxing, exactly what I was hoping for during my stay.
