Beautiful hotel right in the banks of the Ganga. Yoga, treatment and meals also available.. Great place to stay and relax

Enjoyed our one day stay at Yog Niketan with family. It was really wholesome experience with Ma Ganga clear and full view from our room and so close proximity to Ghats. The location made the experience wonderful. Had great time with Aparna for Yog class. She had great way of anchoring the class and gave me kick start to Yog in this new year. Really recommend this place and experiencing Yog class with Aparna. She really had aura and the way she explained the asanas was helpful.

in the world full of yoga as a fashion, lucky to have met these gems of rishkesh. @aparnarana168 is a master yogi and fantastic teacher for yoga asanas, mudras, pranayama and meditation. @kapri.rohit_raj is a classical music master, a flutist whose music helps take all the practice beyond the limits of words and language. Absolutely blessed to have attended morning yoga session and evening meditation with live music session at @yogniketanrishikesh

We enjoyed our stay at Yog Niketan last week. Location is superb. Cleanliness is superb. Long tradition arm chairs are very nice idea. It gives traditional look. All staff is good. Food is a plus point too. All veg option we tried are very tasty. Specially restaurant staff Upendraji, Kush, Baby etc  are giving the best service to guests. Breakfast and High tea are also have diff varites..South Indian dishes, North Indian dishes but no gujju item I found in four days like dhokla, khaman and gujju poha( indori poha was there). Now I meet a lot of Gujarati guests in the premises. Few are from Ahmedabad and few from Mumbai, Surat. So I suggest adding live dhokla( even can be added in evening tea time in place of oily pakoda) and methi naa thepla. We r pleased by their treatment. We have done meditation too. Aparna gave nice lessons for yoga. The yoga room and yoga exercises are excellent. No complaints for Yog Niketan but Rishikesh weather is unpredictable so  I advise other guests to keep a small umbrella or poucha in a bag. I also advice to attend aarti at Shatrugna ghat. Which is on same side of Hotel and seven minutes appr. distance. Thank you Yog Niketan for making my trip memorable. Last but not least we enjoyed Flute by Rakesh last day. No words to express my joy for such a heart touching flute playing by him. Last day was more memorable due to breakfast with live flute playing.It gave me Peace, peace and peace. What else I wants? Nothing.

Well, from onboarding to service levels, it was absolutely amazing. Rohit, the F&B Manager, helped me plan a superb itinerary. Live flute playing during breakfast by Rohit is a great enhancement. Deepak, the chef at breakfast, was really caring, too.

This hotel was the highlight of our honeymoon. My wife and I checked-in for two nights at the end of our European and Indian holiday and after our yoga and meditation sessions with Aparna (instructor) and Rohit (flautist), we didn’t want to check-out. They are both extremely talented and courteous and made our time here very special. It was such a fulfilling experience to stay here that we can’t wait to come back. The food was excellent, the room was well-appointed and comfortable but it was the staff that truly made this place better than anywhere else. This included the reception, housekeeping, spa and restaurant staff who were all excellent. Some reviews we read mentioned the state of the rooms but we were happy (maybe bring earplugs if staying anywhere in India if you are a light sleeper). It looks like they might be renovating some rooms, but ours was good. We booked the package with breakfast and dinner which was a great idea as the restaurant food is fresh, tasty and nourishing. They also offer free afternoon tea with snacks (savoury and sweet). Rohit played the flute in the garden whilst we ate our breakfast and looked out at the Ganges.

Very peaceful relaxing experience. Everyday nice. The rooms, the stay, the reception, food, the complimentary hatha yoga and meditation by Aparna mam taught me how to start my meditation practise and inculcate in my daily life for me n my daughter, the mesmerising flute music in the morning by Rohit sir - he gave us eye opening music teachings, advices and what music to listen according to the time of the day and it was serenity in my soul. The house keeping services were immediate and security person was very cautious about our safety and comfort. I felt like home and my family. I went with my daughter and everything what we needed was arranged by them effortlessly for me. The Chefs Deepak, Avinash and Vivek were very enthusiastic to cook us south Indian chennai food, also food was provided with love in a quick time without having to wait long like a mother's preparation. It was tasty and also very good and calm on our digestive system. The members Kush, Neeraj and all the members of the restaurant were very kind, always attending us although it was numerous calls, they came with a smiling face, whatever asked for was taken into account with responsibility looked upon in youtube and made for us like Kara kuzhambu, rasam etc. I will go there again since it has become my home kinda. Everyone are always welcoming changing my strees vibe to smiling face, got new friends. Positive vibes was the mantra. I thank Aparna mam and Rohit sir for always kindly incorporating into my mind positivity positivity and positivity only cos they could read my burdened soul.. the meditation was awesome and Aparna mam taught me certain tips to do to relieve anxiety in me n my daughter. I have so much words for Rohit Sirs flute in the mornings. It was magical, peaceful, mesmerising, good emotions bombarding giving a positive feel that our life is changing positively for good and good things are on the way, to embrace our soul change for good. Shika, Ashwini sir, suresh or Manoj (sorry, I really got confused with his name) front reception were very kind for every doubt asked and warm talks and guidance, and reassurance whenever I feared or doubted. I will be going there again. It will continue.

Everything was just perfect. Only the price of food and room rent on a much higher side. 12000 per day for room I felt is a bit high. Food is also excessively priced but the location,the view and the service - everything is just perfect. Special thanks to darwan ji. We loved his service and behaviour.

Beautiful property overlooking the Ganges! The hospitality is excellent and all staff there greet you looking after all your needs. Special mention to Upendra, Laxmi Singh Bhatt, Shikha and Rohit Rawat for their expectionallu good service!! The yoga and meditation sessions at the property are relaxing. The yoga teacher Aparna hosts these sessions and she is very good. The flute master at the property plays soulful tunes during morning breakfast time. My advice is to go for breakfast too if you are booking a room with them. The food is super yummy, highly recommend to try the Garhwali thali. The stunning surreal views of the Ganga river are an added bonus. We had the best experience here. Truly a divine place in Rishikesh.
