Just back from an excellent 11 nights at the Garda Suites Hotel. The team couldn’t do enough for their guests from the team at breakfast, the gents on the bar and the team on reception. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast with a huge array of food for every taste. It was all well presented and fresh as could be. At 5:30pm an excellent array of snacks were available at the bar to enjoy with a pre dinner drink before heading out to Riva for dinner. The hotel is well situated with only a two minute walk down to the shore at the lake. The restaurant’s in Riva are excellent with us having a huge selection but we did enjoy going to two more than once as they were so good. The room was excellent with a comfortable sitting area with two balconies and TV’s. The room was new with a lovely bathroom. Overall an excellent holiday at a great hotel run by passionate staff.

The staff was really great. Helped us with our wishes. Everything was really good. The elevator could be faster but we were on vacation so no hurry. The girl at the register gave us really good restaurant recommenations. Only good words for the hotel and the staff. Breakfast is really good with a lot of choises. The parking is tricky especially at the hotel front, but we got the underground one, so it was more spacious. Thank You once again that You let us get a good vacation.

The best hotel in Riva del Garda! Silvia took care of us right when we arrived until we were leaving. Sumptous breakfast, 5-10mins walk to the beach and about 20-30mins to the old town. I would definitelt stay here again when we're going back to Lake Garda!

Excellent hotel, very good location and superb service. The breakfast was very versitale. The building was just renovated. Easy access to cycling and hiking. Short walk to the city center and to the beach. The staff was very nice and helpful.

the staff were rude to me and my children it was not very skibidi of them they even tried to steal my jewellery i would like if they had a talking to thank you that's all i need from you today maybe even new staff !! some of the staff even taught my son a swear word that i will not repeat. i want more skibidi sigma staff please and thank you

My Mum and I stayed at the Hotel Garda for a week in June through Jet2holidays and were thoroughly impressed. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, the hotel and grounds were spotless, rooms really comfortable and the food was fantastic. I’d like to particularly mention and thank the restaurant staff who were exceptional. I am vegan and each morning I was given my own croissants and advised from the menu what the chef could adapt to a vegan version. I enjoyed some terrific meals, and with the breakfast buffet full of fresh fruit & cereal, and the evening salad bar, ate healthier than ever :-) The hotel bikes which can be used free of charge for guests were a great way to get around using the cycle paths along the lake shore and into the Arco valley. I’d definitely recommend the hotel to anyone.

We have been to this hotel many times over the past few years. Gabriella and the staff do their very best to make all guests welcome and greet us like old friends. I suffer from back problems and I had requested a mattress topper which was on the bed when I arrived. We had upgraded to a Classic Plus Room for a wonderful view down the Lake. Thanks to all for a fabulous holiday.

Positives first - the hotel is well situated for the north of the lake - about a 20 minute walk into the old town Riva and similar to Tiboli in the opposite direction. The pool is clean as is the hotel generally. Our general view of this hotel was influenced by the breakdown of the air conditioning, which was creaking and groaning on the first night we arrived and then proceeded to breakdown altogether and wasn’t fixed for a further 5 days - not good when only there for a week. The hotel offered us a fan which didn’t help at all but it was at least a gesture. The rooms are quite small but functional. The swimming pool is small but clean but only has around 20 sun loungers round it - so need to get up early if you want a space. The balcony in our room was tiny and a triangle shape so you need to squeeze through to get seated. Not ideal but it sort of qualified as a balcony. Restaurant food was ok - breakfast was generally good and the evening meals were ok although choice limited to a couple of dishes a night - but supplemented with lots of veg and sides from the buffet. Our honest opinion was that the hotel feels more like a three star and could do with some modernisation.

We had been to Riva in 2022 and decided on the Hotel Garda due to the food reviews. We were glad we did! Breakfast was nicely comprehensive and had everything we needed..and more. Outside of Scotland, this is the first hotel where I managed to have my favourite breakfast of all time - scrambled eggs with smoked salmon everyday I was there! Evening meals were chosen at breakfast and we were impressed by their quality - especially nice to get authentic Italian food like Vitello Tonnato as a starter - delicious! The staff were superb - every one. We cannot remember all their names but the two Danielas and the dark-haired lady who checked us in were professional and informative. Marco and his lady deputy plus the waiters at breakfast and dinner were excellent and had a good sense of humour. The two guys on the bar who served us excellent G & Ts in happy hour were brilliant! It's an easy walk to the lake and from there a lovely flat walk to the centre of town from where we would get a local bus back for free with the GardaPass. There's a supermarket in walking distance also. All in all, a great visit and we truly would love to come back next year. Thanks to you all xxx.
