NH Collection Alagna Mirtillo Rosso

One of the best hotels we have ever been! The staff is outstanding and the baby care and kindergarten is just the best ever. Our 2 years old loved every minute we spent here!! This hotel has it all! Animal friendly, baby focused and the food is a dream! So many great activities and they help you with everything! The staff is outstanding! Thank you so much for everything we will be back soon!!

We went with high expectations. Unfortunately we were disappointed. The hotel fell below nearly every European family hotel we have stayed at over the past 4/5 years, considering the cost and the rating. Service in the restaurant was poor, at times with the feeling that the food was literally thrown at you, the menu is via an annoying app which does not always work and makes it difficult to know which courses you are ordering for. Breakfast was a chaotic affair with limited healthy options and a lot of sweet things, nothing really healthy for kids. Cut veg / fruit / quality meats etc. On departure we were tagged to a lunch we had not received for over a 100 euro charge, which was sorted out but was a reflection of the approach. As non Italian speakers, it felt a little like we were in inconvenient addition (outside of activity guides who were great). Pool and facilities are good and the hotel is located in an amazing place, just needs to improve on its standards if it wants to attract a higher level of clients.

Our family of five (kids 8, 6 and 3) spent a week at Mirtillo Rosso and were extremely pleased. The children literally cried for some time upon leaving due to having to depart from their new friends (the amazing kids club staff!) The activities for both children and adults are plentiful and the ski lessons for kids are very helpful for parents. As parents, we are usually very stressed out, but Mirtillo Rosso helped us to relax a little bit! We greatly enjoyed the spa and the proximity to the slopes. Highly recommended as a place to go with young children for a ski or winter holiday. The staff were all super. Thank you to everyone at the property!

Amazing family hotel - the pool was great, food and service great. The kids had an amazing time. Also in comparison to other kinder hotels the bedroom was larger than usual and very nice quality. The bar was nice for family relaxing in the evening. We loved our stay and couldn’t have been happier!

Hotel/rooms: beautiful hotel, simple rooms but spacious and suitable for families with young children Restaurant/food: spacious and well decorated restaurant, good food, incredible and very lovely staff who really try their best to meet all your demands and requests (it was a real pleasure to go eat at the restaurant for each meal). There is also a snack scheduled every day from 4 to 5pm which is lovely (and delicious!!!) Pool/outdoors: the pools are amazing and the outdoor part is great too Staff in general: helpful and friendly Activities organised by the hotel: varied, frequent and great Location: stunning Baby club (1-4 years old): very disappointing and very bad. Unexperienced staff, not willing to work with children, no effort made to accommodate or play with toddlers. No activities planned for toddlers, few toys/games availble. It was so bad that we did not feel safe leaving our children with them. It was far from the good care you get in club med hotels. So we would not recommend this hotel if you have children aged 0-4 years old unless you are happy to spend all your time with them. Do not count on the baby club if they do not make any changes and it stays in the current state.

We visited this hotel for the second time this December, (The first was in February 2022) and all I can say is it’s amazing! Great architecture in a lovely village, genuinely friendly staff who takes care of everything, really lovely guests, EVERYTHING sparkling clean, a wonderful spa, an indoor/outdoor pool(there is even an epsom salt bath!), lots of activities for children, very good ski school etc etc. Definitely worth a visit!
