Where do I start! I am writing to let you know how much I appreciated the friendly and accommodating service the housekeeping staff, janitor, and front desk clerk provided during my current stay at Country In and Suites. Their dedication to ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests like myself did not go unnoticed, and I am grateful for their efforts. However, I'd like to share my experience and some concerns about the overall quality of my stay. While I understand that the hotel offered competitive rates, I was disappointed to discover that certain amenities did not meet the expectations set by the cost of the stay or was simply not available. One particular disappointment was the pool's closure on some of the hottest days of the summer. This unexpected closure affected my family's ability to enjoy our stay fully and was especially disappointing for my children. It would have been greatly appreciated if we were informed of this beforehand so that we could go with other lodging. The breakfast waffle was so heavy that if they had taken an ultrasound of my stomach they might've found a fully form disk 3 days later mind you. The coffee was so light you would've mistake it for syrup and I have the pictures to prove it. The shower condition was concerning, with overlapping soap scum, dinge marks, sediment, mildew, and bacteria along the shower door and grout of the floor. The main light fixture was infested with dead gnats, and the air conditioning unit emitted a strong smell of mildew and a UIF (unidentified funk). For the safety and comfort of my own family, I took it upon myself to purchase cleaning, disinfecting, and odor-eliminating products to ensure the room was suitable for my family's arrival by dedicating an hour to cleaning. This unexpected labor was disappointing, considering the cost of our stay, and downright absurd! Given the inconvenience caused by the closed pool and the extra effort and expense I put into cleaning the room to meet acceptable standards, I would highly recommend you check and book elsewhere. Oh, and I failed to mention that the hotel had a lobby refrigerator with some sodas devoid of water! The staff knew it from when I arrived on Thursday, but it was still empty when I left on Sunday. I personally shared my water with other thirsty senior-aged guests (Check the cameras) who said they needed water to take with their medications or it was too late for them to go out and purchase. It was sha
