Courtyard Pittsburgh Airport Settlers Ridge

I was a little disappointed. For the price point, and with the Marriott nameplate, I expected more, even though I understood that this was the most affordable Marriott offering in the area. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, yes; but the absence of a breakfast option included was eyebrow-raising. The plus, though, is a mall in walking distance with great meal options. It was also eyebrow-raising to find an old-school 32" TV. The room was reasonably appointed with comfortable furniture, a little more ergonomically sensitive than too many other places.

We stayed here while in town for the NCAA tournament opening rounds. Hotel checked all my boxes. Comfortable, soft towels, good bed and pillows, lots of hot water, blackout curtains. Good seating in the room. Beautiful lobby. Quieter than expected, given it’s at the airport. Easy drive into the city. Much better price than downtown town hotels. We got daily housekeeping, which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. My favorite touch? The housekeeper left a washcloth in the shower for easy reach. Now how did he know that I always forget to grab one when I stay in a hotel?! Remarkable. Great service.

Coming from Cleveland, stayed overnight for a quick getaway with our two kids, to visit the museums. After years of visiting Pittsburgh, this is by far the best hotel stay my husband and I have had! Our room was amazingly clean and spacious (we had two queens and a single, fold-out couch we didn’t use), the pool was excellent and warm, and we SO appreciated the hot coffee at the bistro in the morning - especially want to say thanks for the two women working the front/bistro on a freezing cold, snowy morning. There weren’t many other people staying at the hotel, but it will be our “go to” from now on! Only 15-20 minutes into the city, and tons of restaurants and shopping options just across the street.

Had concerns about complimentary coffee in the lobby as most hotels do, currently having complimentary coffee in another Marriott as I'm writing. No microwave in room. Upon leaving, cold stares when mentioned these and other minor concerns. Contacted corporate, a nonsense reply, obviously lying, that coffee isn't complimentary at Marriott Courtyard. Worse experience ever at this location, never returning. On a positive note, the room was spotless, but I don't trust Marriott anymore.

Staff is nice. After a long nighttime drive, I called to see if we could check-in early and Lynn found us a clean room. Great furniture. There is a small desk on wheels that can be rolled out from underneath the credenza, which is convenient for watching TV while typing on laptop. There is a chair with ottoman for reading. They have glass tumblers for drinks. TV has an HDMI input with is convenient for hooking up Roku to watch movies or recorded shows. Bistro downstairs offers cocktails, wine, beer and a small selection of pretty good basic items.

This hotel is located close to the airport, many restaurants and other businesses within a short driving distance. However, you're paying for a place to relax and get a good night's sleep. Guest rooms need attention. The walk-in shower floor needs a deep cleaning. The toilet didn't look as if it had been cleaned. We set the AC with auto fan, but in the middle of the night the room was overly warm. Pillows were good, but mattress felt lumpy. Those who work the front desk never smile or make guests feel welcome.

HVAC having some issues making the room smell musty. Shower floor grout needs serious cleaning. Front desk staff (a woman) was the most unpleasant person. There’s road construction in front of hotel which is noisy and a mess.

Our 1st stay here. Very nice hotel i had requested a low floor or a room not for from elevator due to mu hubby having some health issues when we checked in the clerk knew this upgraded ourroom to a suite we were on 2nd floor by elevator. They have a restaraunt on site for breakfast / dinner. We didnt go to it but it looked very nice. They are office busy interstate and busy road and it was still pretty quiet.

We just spent two nights at this hotel while getting work done to our house. Overall from start to end our stay was fantastic! We’ve stayed here twice in the past couple years. Overall based on our past experiences this property has only improved. When we checked in, Ashley at the front desk gave us the warmest welcome. She assigned us a really nice king room up on the 5th floor. (Room 527) The room overall was super clean. It had no funky smells or odors in it. The bed was very comfortable, I slept pretty well both the nights. The a/c however was super super loud. Both the evening men working the desk were very friendly as well including Danny, and we forget the other guy’s name. They both were super helpful though! We would totally recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the Robinson/Pittsburgh Airport area. This hotel is a gem!!
