Red Roof Plus+ Pittsburgh South - Airport

Nice for price could have been cleaner, floor was sticky but overall cant complain for last minute and price point.

Not sure why the PLUS+ was added to title. Room was clean. Just keep in mind it’s a budget hotel. No frills. Our room had no fridge, microwave or hair dryer. Had to run to Walmart to purchase a hair dryer. Pillows were pretty flat and mattress was not the best. That being said, it wasn’t the worst place to stay. It served our needs for the weekend. Check in staff was nice. The restaurant/diner out front was pretty good.

It was $77 a night I believe cheaper than a lot of other places that I was looking at for the price. It was excellent. I have no complaints. It didn’t smell in the room. I didn’t have candles to make the room smell good. Everyone was nice if you’re looking for affordable hotel or motel wherever you want to call it and you don’t want it to feel affordable. This is a place. The bathroom might’ve been small but it was really nice. I had a nice sleep the two nights I was there for the price, and there is a restaurant right? I mean you can walk to restaurant there’s a gas station right there. It’s a good area and it’s right by the airport. I recommend you’re on a budget to go to this hotel if you need a hotel. However, keep in mind you don’t want to have the key card by your phone or wallet or else. It will deactivate it and you have to go back to the front desk.

I had no choice but to check in at Red Roof Inn Plus because all other hotels were booked solid due to an event going on in the area. The room was absolutely horrendous, the carpets had been urinated on and the room smelled so awful it was hard to breathe. The television didn't turn on, nothing worked except for the air conditioner, the floors were sticky and every surface looked unclean and full of dirt and rust. I tried to clean up with antibacterial wipes just to get through the night but it didn't help much. The head boards on the bed were sticky and smelled strange and the air conditioner and mirror were covered in sticky candy from a child who stayed in the room before us. The childs hand prints were everywhere and that means the room wasn't cleaned before us. At check in there was a large monitor on the wall that showed camera footage of every room showing the bed view. (No privacy) The staff do not care about your concerns so just avoid the place entirely. I left early because I couldn't stand being there any longer.

Had stayed here in the past, but this is the first time since they have renovated the rooms. Room had a small refrigerator and a small microwave. Very comfortable bed and clean interior. Plenty of hot water for a shower. Convenient parking just next to the room. Would certainly stay as the personnel at check-in were very professional and pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay there. The manager was thoughtful and kind. We stayed Two nights. The room was clean and the appliances worked and the room service was outstanding. Would stay again. Had a great experience and was greatly surprised by the hospitality of the people who worked there.

I was looking for no frills and i definitely got no frills. The room was very small. There was not much room between the bed and the walking areas. The bed was comfortable but for the love of god the pillow here and every red roof i've stayed at recently have had HORRIBLE pillows! What really upset me about INSIDE the room is the bathroom. It was very small. I felt i couldn't even close the door it was way too small. What also was not very appealing at this place was outside my room the light was not working. It was very dark and being a female traveling alone in an unknown place it was very unsettling. Additionally my door was behind a gated, what i assume dumpster. If you're behind that and no light it can be very worrisome to travelers.
