Just returned from a Leger trip to Rocamadour and the Dordogne and stayed here for four nights. A lovely old and quaint hotel in the centre of the town run by a lovely, friendly English lady called Sally and her husband. The rooms were clean. The delicious food was served in their restaurant across the road by very friendly staff. Had no complaints at all about our stay there and would certainly recommend staying there

Fantastic food and wine. The views are amazing. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The plat du jour was really lovely. A very well oiled machine. The wine of the day was fantastic, great value at €19 when I searched on line it retailed in the UK at £43. Well worth the visit

We were booked into this hotel by Leger as part of our holiday package . One must remember this hotel is in an old French village so bare that in mind when making comments . We found the hotel good for our visit , food was served up in their restaurant oppersite and we found this very good and as we were in a group the choices were ok but not what they normally serve from their main menu . Breakfast was served here as well. The hotel lift is very small and only takes 4 small people at a time , the internet stopped working after the first day and the manager kept on chasing for attention to no avail. We found that the hotel bar on the second floor was not open at night ,not sure why. Overall staff at the hotel and restaurant provided a good service considering the circumstances. Great views across the valley at meal times very rewarding .

Accept the fact that this hotel is 600 years old and you won’t go far wrong. Our first room had a sliding toilet door which was off its runners and didn’t close properly. Our next room was much better, it was spacious the bed was comfortable and we slept very well. Natural light was a bit low and there were original beams. The restaurant was in another building (similar age) continental breakfast only. Dinner was ordered the previous evening and was satisfactory, the staff were all extremely pleasant. Go back again? Probably. This was a Leger Luxuria holiday. We paid a premium price, but did not receive premium treatment. To be fair our drivers were excellent, but our coach was old and a bit shabby. Leger also put us on the ferry instead of using the channel tunnel which put hours onto our journey..

Room on the ground floor no. 12, below the level of the sidewalk. Room with a terrible smell of rot. The window is at the height of people walking on the sidewalk, so you can't open the window to feel safe at night. The quality of the finish is very poor. Even such a beautiful town and monuments do not compensate for a sleepless night. Breakfast was very good in a separate building

Location good nice views. Rooms very basic .staff not friendly . Evening meal and breakfast terrible quality..of rooms very .poor.. Rocamador nice town but not this hotel...this probably should be 1 star. Should be more welcoming to us . Not a good welcome..from the owners...

Basic is being generous. We were told there was no hot water in the hotel so were moved up the road. There was no lounge, no bar. Two single beds in our room and a tiny wardrobe. Just room to move between the beds to get to the bathroom and separate toilet with flimsy folding doors. The walls were so thin you could hear everything in the next rooms - including what was happening in the toilet next door - not pleasant. Cracked lino flooring and no heating - it was cold and wet when we were there. We had to walk down the road to the restaurant for breakfast and evening meal - not good when it's raining. Some of the staff were lovely others were downright rude. Rocamadour is a beautiful place but I would not go back to this hotel.

Clean comfortable beds. This is an historic building and the rooms may not be large, but the hotel is in keeping with its ancient surroundings. Sally the co-owner, was extremely helpful and kind, when I needed some assistance. It’s a perfect base for sightseeing in the local area. The breakfasts are sparse, expect basic?
