I booked months ago, paid more to stay here specifically for view of harbor like pictures on site. It was night 1, wanted to get a good glimpse into Maine views. We were in a first floor with a big orange work construction vehicle blocking everything. I just wish we were given priority for a higher room or one away from the construction vehicles since we booked so early, but I didn’t think to request it. A bit disappointing. Sheets a little scratchy. Everything else—Staff and breakfast and location great!! Breakfast good for all eaters-carb lovers and zero carbers like me. Hot Eggs/sausage for me.

Excellent. The receptionist Rachel is an ambassador for this hotel - she came to our rescue when we needed help with printing something. She was so professional. The rooms were amazing and sea views out of this world. Room was clean and fridge microwave and coffee maching great. Breakfast which consisted of cooked food and cold was very good. It was excellent value for money and we would definitely stay again. Lots os restuarants within working distance. "Dry Dock" amazing seafood and "High Tide" fantastic fish and chips- best we have ever had in US. Elaine and Mick from London

My group of bicyclists were very well treated by the Rockland Harbor Hotel. The rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly to our group. The room was great and the included breakfast was much appreciated and had a range of offerings. The hotel common spaces and outdoor patio were a great place to socialize and the hotel is perfectly located in the town center for easy walking to restaurants, shops, the ferry terminal and local attractions.

Location is central. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was better than most. Very clean and several choices. We stayed at the lower level to save a few dollars. It would have been a better experience staying in the upper level rooms for the view.

Older hotel, but well maintained with some renovations. Good basic clean room, large size, comfortable mattress. Includes frig and microwave. All rooms have a harbor view which is nice, especially for the sunrise. Short walk to downtown. Friendly staff and decent breakfast.

I love this hotel. The staff is so very nice. Hotel and rooms are spotless, attractive and updated. The bedding is comfortable, and we enjoyed undisturbed Sleep. To have a balcony overlooking the harbor is special. There is a complementary breakfast that was varied and continually replenished. The location is on the street with shops and restaurants, and a few blocks from the Farnsworth museum. Directly across the he street is the ferry building. We wii stay again.

Best place to stay in Rockland. It is within walking distance to the ferry terminal and restaurants and stores. The included breakfast was delicious, and the staff was continually checking to make sure there was enough for everyone. Front desk is welcoming and accommodating plus had great recommendations for restaurants. We stayed on a Thursday and a Sunday as we spent the in between time in North Haven

Our room was very nice. We got a king balcony with view because I wanted to be able to sit on the balcony and people watch or whatever if I was too tired to go anywhere. The balcony was very narrow, but a balcony nonetheless, and had two chairs and was fine. There was also a patio in front of the lobby with cushioned chairs in case you want more space. The breakfast was good; there were enough options. I would have loved the price to be a little lower but isn't that true about anything in life. It was still affordable and again, the room was very comfortable and we did indeed enjoy people watching and watching the ferry and whatever else happened to happen, haha.

We were traveling starting from bar harbor down the coast of Maine and needed a place for one night in the Camden/Rockport/Rockland area as we were golfing at Samoset. My husband read the reviews and we booked it short notice. This hotel is clean, friendly and well maintained. It’s an older property that has been nicely renovated. Our room had plenty of towels, clean comfortable bedding/pillows, a coffee maker, etc. We used the hotel gym which although small was extremely clean with cardio equipment, free weights and a universal type machine, everything you need to put together a workout. We paid more than double this amount for a B&B in bar harbor that wasn’t as nice. Highly recommend if you need something in this area.
