Probably the worst experience we had in Rodrigues. It was so bad that we accepted to forfeit around EUR 200 instead of staying there. The hotel is poorly lit and so far from everything. There was no one to welcome us and we were made to wait in the dark. They were not even aware of our arrival date despite us having booked there months ago and gave us a dirty and mouldy room. There was no tissue paper, blanket in the room. Then they told us that the kitchen is closed (mind you, we had just arrived from the airport) and there is no dinner. The guy even dared to tell us, (come help me in the kitchen, i will see if there is something for you). So i guess they scraped the bottom of pans and gave us a tiny portion of a dinner. The next day, when we tried to speak to the owner, well the owner was not reachable. He or she was playing hide and seek and would not face us despite multiple phone calls. It felt like we were prisoners. Any honest business would have refunded us our money if there were grave complaints like that but they took our money and did not refund us. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
