Cocotiers Hotel - Rodrigues

Trip to rodrigues was one of the best decision ive made. At cocotiers hotel, its like paradise especially the staffs there have a golden heart.. thanks to good foods by the chef and good service by the staffs. Good welcome by the reception and everyone there.. i had an incredible moment there with live music. I highly recommended this hotel for couples and families.. thank you cocotier to make my trip memorable.

I had the worst experience at Cocotier Hotel Rodrigues. We went there for my daughter’s birthday and witnessed the most horrific stay for four nights and five days. When we arrived, there was no bellboy to help us with our luggages. We have to literally drag our luggages to our rooms which were on the second floor. The staffs were disinterested and not all welcoming at all. The room was another let down. There were bugs, filth in my niece room and mold in the corner. The breakfast was uninspired with the same bland options every single day. There were no crabs in the bouillon crab and not a piece of lamp was found in the halim. The garden was poorly maintained, and the gardener spoke so rudely with the guests. There were cats, pigeons, chickens, dogs in the restaurant. When I raised my concerns with the staff and Marie Michèle Louis (Resident manager) they just shrugged it off with no apology or solutions. To top it all off, the hotel’s management was unhelpful and uninterested in resolving any of the issues we encountered. By the time we checked out, I was exhausted and relieved to be leaving. This hotel has so much potential, but it's being completely underutilized.

Spent xmas 2024. The bathroom very dirty. Stings. Washbasin broken and dirty water stays. Breakfast terrible. The hotel surrounding dirty. Not advisable to book this hotel. The staffs are nice. Hotel should close for a good renovations.

Worst hotel,service not to standard..Food, I ll rate 1/5..they give bouillon crabe n guess no crabe..n guess wt the manager said they took out the crab out..nex day they give halim agneau,same it's flavored agneau n not a single piece agneau instead lots lentils..ask them if can arrange seat for 5 people outside guess wts the answer,can't they already did setting...think cocotier hotel n staff must learn lots from mauritian hospitality hotels..3 nights stay not a single rodriguais Food in hotel n not a sega night ridrigues culture...been there in year 2019 n went this year 2025,no improvements in hotel infrastructure same as b4 I ll say worst...u r still eating at table ,the waiter comes to your table,guess wt he says can I take your plate, u over...wttttt the

Excellent customer service and hospitality. Really clean and highly recommended. I would rate it as 9 over 10 as the food may be improved (the taste should be improved but I was told some spices and salt are not added to cater for a wide range of clients so I understand) but this is easily resolved by buying food in the neighboring restaurants.

Nice place to stay on a business trip. Opted for a HB basis and the breakfast and dinner were nice (buffet style). The standard room is OK, the garden room and seaview rooms are much better. Near to port mathurin and some small shops. Facing the seaside and close to food stalls. Would recommend for a peaceful stay.
