LH Hotel Lloyd Rome

Just returned from our stay here, which we were there for 4 nights. Its a 3*star hotel. Was good value and just what we wanted. The bus stop is just around the corner, and it is easy to get to all the main attractions. The reception team were all very helpful and will let you know all of the bus routes. 2 negatives are, the room on the whole seemed to be dark. There's not enough lights in there. And second, breakfast room. It is clearly not bigger enough, and they can't keep up with the food coming out. I was asked because I was finished to move as there was a queue waiting. My daughter wasn't finished her breakfast. That being said, all the food was good.

Been there for a weekend to visit Rome. Hotel room wasn't clean, but it was silent and good enough to stay in for 2 days. Floor was a bit dirty. Shower was really tight and couldn't move the water source, so it was not too comfortable. Heating comes from the AC which by default is set to cold temperature, and it doesn't work properly. Localization was great and the reception was open 24/7. Overall - for cheap price its ok.

This is a ONE star hotel! Extremely dated! The bath tub was tracked and full of mold. Room and hotel floors are stained and not clean. Breakfast is disgusting. Cleaning staff do not clean rooms properly (clear the garbage) or even the libby area. Reception staff are not efficient or friendly. Do NOT book here.

(+) Location is great, not too far from the city center. (+) The receptionists spoke English very well, friendly and helpful. (+) They gave us an upgrade with a bigger size of the hotel room which was nice! (+) Spent about €60/night in the high-season, it was a great deal with breakfast Included. (+) Room was comfortable, AC works well, Bathroom was clean, Wifi works fine. (+) The kitchen staff who prepares the breakfast are lovely! The german lady was super friendly and the other one which i'm not quite sure where she is from but she did great serving us! (-) The electricity works by inserting the card key, therefore it is not possible to store food or drinks in refrigerator while we left the hotel.

We were two couples staying in this hotel in adjacent rooms. The rooms were not lockable from the inside. One night we were woken by our door being opened, i challenged two men who entered our room, one member of staff and one guest. The member of staff apologised and said he had opened the wrong room, he then went on to do the exact same thing to our friends room. The day receptionist told us the night manager had been told many times not to do this and he should have verified the guests room number first, she said and I quote "He is old and losing mental capacity" She said the guest was drunk and had forgotten his room number ad that the locks had been changed in the room and they were currently waiting for new parts to make them work properly and lock from the inside, she apologised and advised us to claim a refund on our rooms by going through the agent we booked with. She gave us her contact details to follow up with when we got home. I made this request and received a response from the hotel manager saying we were lying and that is not what happened, the member of staff who advised us to claim a refund has ignored all my attempts to contact her.

Well first il start with the only reason o gave it two stars and that is because the staff behind reception was very friendly and helpful , the hotel is very dated The pictures lie that are On all the websites i really wish I took a pic of the bath because I have no words clearly very old the enamel was peeling off the seal between where it was boxed in was brown and Mouldy stains On the carpet , the bed was well I might aswell have slept on the concrete floor it was hard I had a bad back all weekend from it didn’t sleep much very noisy as we was at the front of the hotel on the 2nd floor room 205 it is classed as a 3 star hotel but it’s more a 1 Or 2 star at a push I know you get what you pay for but it wasn’t that cheap for 2 Nights I was expecting the Hilton but come on serious work needs doing in this hotel .
