The Radical Hotel Roma

I've stayed here for 15 nights in total. This was my first time in Rome, and all I can say is that this hotel was an incredible surprise hidden in the middle of the city. It was more than I expected. If you are looking for a modern hotel with a lift (which is hard to find in Rome), clean, affordable, friendly staff and close to the main attractions and a few steps from the metro, this is the correct place. I've stayed both in the Single (named "The One") and Double Superior Room (named "Cardinal" on the website), and enjoyed both of them. The hotel is colourful and decorated with an excellent taste. It's very modern, with a nice splash of art, and you have everything you need (and more) in your room. I loved that breakfast is provided to your room, even though you can choose to have it in their lobby/breakfast area if you are travelling solo. However, I enjoyed having a quiet time in my room while I was having my breakfast. I want to highlight that ALL the staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. I cannot remember everyone's names, but all of them were amazing during my whole stay (which was a long one). They will make their best to help you with whatever you need. A big thanks to Giada who, on my first day in Rome it was raining a lot and I arrived completely soaking wet to the hotel. So, she offered me a nice cappuccino and corneto, and allowed me to check in earlier :) I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is coming to Rome.

We loved everything about this hotel! From the moment we arrived we were looked after so well. All the staff were extremely professional and very helpful. Fantastic room, great breakfast brought to your room. Really comfy bed and great location! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, even down to supplying our breakfast at 5. 15 one morning (breakfast service time is usually later) as we had to leave early that day. Being able to leave luggage when we first arrived as we were very early for check in and on the day of departure was a huge help. The area was really quiet, even though only 10/15 minute walk from Roma Termini. Can’t wait to stay here again, would definitely be my first choice! Bravo!

Absolutely amazing place. The staff (Ruth, Jada & Achik), the facilities & the location make the stay memorable, it genuinely is hard to leave after such a delightful experience. If you're planning to visit Rome, this is the place. Thanking the team again, hoping to come back.

If you are looking for super clean, modern and well located hotel in Rome then this is the place for you. Minimal but fun in design, it’s got all the mod cons of a great 4 star hotel in a quiet-ish street near the Republica and Barberini train station along with a few bus stops with key routes around the city. If you want to be waited on hand and foot, this is not the place. But if you want an amazing respite from the hustle and bustle of Rome with great air con, a power shower and lovely staff, head to this hotel. Don’t let the stylised photos put you off. It’s as cool and clean as it looks.

Great location, 15 minute walk to Rome Termini, and 5 minute walk to two metro stations. Also walking distance to some main attractions. The hotel is located in a second floor of an old building, you enter by a big old wooden door, then go up to the second floor by a nice old elevator or by the stairs. When you get to the hotel, you perceive a nice contrast with the building, it has a modern touch in its arquitectural finishes, very well done, well kept. The room was confortable, clean, good AC. Breakfast was included, it was brought to the room in the morning, you had to order it by a checklist the previous night, the first day everything arrived as we ordered, the next two days, some things we ordered didn’t arrive. Personnel were very kind, willing to help on tourist questions, they prepared a list of recommended restaurants, because in Rome there’s lots of tourist traps.

This was our last stop on a two week tour of Italy. This is a really lovely hotel. The location is great, close to all the major sights and beside the Metro. The staff at reception were super kind and friendly from check in to check out. We had the junior suite which was beautifully decorated and comfortable. Very well priced mini bar too. We had the breakfast which was fresh, tasty, and delivered to our room. I would definitely stay here on a return trip to Rome.
