This hotel did not meet its basic and most important requirement, which is safety for its customers. As a female, I felt vulnerable and scared. I do not recommend this hotel at all! My partner and I arrived in the early hours in the morning due to a delayed flight. We were greeted with threatening behaviour by a male receptionist. He demanded I give him €80 cash in hand to compensate for his evening shift, otherwise he wouldn’t give me the keys to my room! I didn’t know what to do and was therefore, left with no other choice. If I had known, I would have called the police to protect us from this behaviour. We also realised the hotel didn’t fulfil our booking for a double bed, even though this was paid for and was clearly stated in the confirmation of our booking. We told the male receptionist, but he argued with my partner and was extremely disrespectful to us. Luckily, my partner was by my side. You shouldn’t even consider this hotel. Beautiful city but disgusting service. Do not book!!

Still has $1000 from my trip back in October which they agreed to pay back money for a stay I didn’t take place but did not. The picture below shows me leaving and I sent an email too reiterating that and they played like they didn’t Know. I was thousands of miles from home.

Absolutely terrible stains in sheets and stains and tears in furniture. I refused to stay because the room looked nothing like the pictures and the lights weren’t working. I had to literally carry all my luggage up two flights of stairs alone no bell hop nothing. Knowing this they refuse to refund me any of my $1300 I paid for a five night stay. Immediately I checked out the same night and then checked into a hotel across the Street. I’ve been calling for almost a week emails and phone calls not returned and they hang up in my face.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed. The rooms are dirty and lack basic amenities such as air conditioning and a safe to store your passport etc. The staff are really rude and unwelcoming, and should not be aloud to work front of house.We spoke to some other residents who were staying here and also agreed it’s one of the worst hotels they have been to. Do not stay here, there are much better places!

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights from the UK. The room had no air con (despite there being a heat wave in Rome), no working fridge, no working safe and the shower only had scorching hot water. We complained about the air con multiple times, promised it would be fixed, to then be told by the rude and unhelpful guy at reception there’s nothing they can do and all rooms are having the same issue. The rooms were dirty, the walls had awful brown stains on… the bedding had marks on and the hotel was overall dated and lacked basic necessities. The staff were the most unhelpful and rude people I have ever met, I asked to speak to the hotel manager (in which I was told doenst exist??). This place was SO bad we spent most of our holiday searching for other places to stay. We spend a lot of time travelling, and I’ve stayed in better 1* hostels in India. Do not book this place, save your money and book somewhere half decent where the hotel has basic amenities and the staff aren’t arrogant and unapproachable. I should have guessed it was going to be horrific when there have been no reviews in the last 1 year +

Hotel is on convenient location, few shops and restaurants near by, room is cleaned on daily basis also towels are changing daily. There is no wardrobe in the room, just 3 hangers on the wall. Problem with hot water in the shower, water constantly changing between hot and cold... not pleasant at all. Soundproof is big issue, you can literally hear everything from other room. Breakfast is very poor, should be improved. Staff is very nice and friendly, especially receptionist Christina.

Hotel en muy buenas condiciones para ser del año 1885, las habitaciones muy bien cuidadas, se incluyó el desayuno en el cual puede parecer algo escaso y cutre pero para ser en Italia vale más desayunar poco y disfrutar más de la comida fuera en cualquier restaurante bueno. El personal muy alegre contento se nota que no están forzados, la insonorización de las habitaciones es muy buena.
