From the minute we arrived the customer service was poor ! Asked for photo i.d and as we was going to a funeral and the website doesn't state you need i.d we didn't have any and the gentleman was quite rude .we had booked a room with 3 beds and paid extra for it ! Only to get to our room and see a small double and a single .I was traveling with my mum n sister so didn't want to share a small bed , complained to reception only to be told they don't have any rooms with 3 single beds ! But they advertise a room with 3 beds in it ! Wasn't happy but we had a funeral to go to , after the funeral we got back to our room to a foul smell of sewerage , 1 flat pillow each ,2 loose tea Bags ..not very hygienic! 2 mugs 1 glass and 1 sachet of coffee between 3 adults ! Tiny towels ,no mattress protectors on beds , so decided we wasn't staying I that room , went to reception to be told hotel was fully booked so couldn't move us I then went on booking site to show them they wasn't and surprisingly they offered us a new room with 3 single beds ! Liars they are ! So went up to new room it was better but still grubby ,curtains not hanged properly and still no mattress protectors .went out to get tea and on return we had realised we had left the keycard in room, went to get a replacement 3 times as they didn't work and after crossing the busy road to get to reception 3 times we wasn't happy ,finally got in room , paper thin walls , the fan in bathroom was noisy and the traffic can be heard in room ...comfy bed and a average breakfast was the only good points ..book a Travelodge and avoid this place !

Don’t use this place it’s definitely not a hotel . Travelling from North wales for a funeral it took us 7 hrs checkin was unpleasant with very rude staff , we booked a three bedroom room and on arriving in the room it was a single and a double bed !! I asked why we hadn’t got what we had booked snd was told there was none . The room itself was dirty and outdated and had a really bad smell.the tea bag was out of a box not individuals. Went to complain about room and was told that they couldn’t move us because the hotel was full !!! Lie after lie from reception and not helpful in anyway, room 507 the sheets didn’t fit the bed curtains hanging off the rails . We decided to go out for a drink when we returned our key would not work in the door .3 times we had to go back across the busy road to be told by the rude reception that we were swapping keys . Have never been to such a grubby place and if it wasn’t for the funeral and the long drive I wouldn’t have stayed.Overpriced grubby place that’s definitely not a hotel.

The room we were allocated had no kettle 2 cups and only 1 glass . The wardrobe was pushed against the side lights which is broken. The room smells of sweat. The wardrobe or cupboard has no door and only 1 hanger. The curtains are hanging off the hook. The window will not stay open. There is no bathroom in the room. It is in a corridor and shared. The staff are unhelpful and hope if they do not talk to you you will go away. We did manage to change room but this time we had a bathroom but no cup or coat hangers.

Please avoid this hotel, when I say that it is discussing, believe me it’s filthy We changed our room 6 times, the first 4 rooms stank of cigarettes, soiled dirty mattresses with no mattress protectors and soiled pillows It didn’t stop there

The room was unclean and had an offensive odor. The mattress exhibited significant soiling. The night receptionist engaged in personal calls during working hours, demonstrating unprofessional and discourteous behavior. I strongly advise against recommending or returning to this establishment. The room contained a soiled and malfunctioning kettle, and the electrical appliances lacked apparent PAT testing.

We were in one of the lodges outside the hotel thank god,rooms are very very basic 2 small towels for shower no hand towel in bathroom no hairdryer room was quite dirty but at least sheets were clean,we asked for another pillow each and bath towels but were told NO we don't offer this.Breakfast was OK no plates for toast had to wait for some food to come out so what I had on my plate I put back as it would have got cold.Very strange people were there so obviously must be used for homeless, people in pjs at breakfast and some obvious druggies along with all sorts of undesirables wouldn't go here again really gone downhill I'm afraid.

There are two sites, we were in the original building. I've just cut my trip short and checked out early after one night in this god awful place. Got no sleep because of noise outside of room until 3am, people shouting doors slamming, and I think these people were staff. The place is some sort of social housing, some people have been there a year or more, turning up for breakfast barefoot like they'd just got out of bed. Beds uncomfortable, carpets filthy, ceilings mouldy. Chose this place because of the advertised parking (there are five spaces!). Will stick with my usual travel lodge or ibis in future.

So the room was beautiful but there was an issue with the savi-loo system. Every time anyone above or yourself flushed the loo the pump made the most horrible loud noise. Had no sleep. Went to reception 3am just to be told there just security and to see morning staff. So no offer of room change. Also I had a shower and the bath safety handle broke of from the wall. I e complained I feel I should get a refund for the room and they said no. This is not acceptable. Avoid avoid avoid. Now there just ignore me. This was my wedding night ruined.

We turned up today for a booking we made in October 2023 for a friends wedding in Romford to be told that “the local council have block booked it and it is no longer operating as a hotel”. The owners have not had the decency to contact us prior to us turning up today to cancel our booking leaving us stranded and looking for a last minute alternative hotel.
