Kievits Kroon Gauteng Wine Estate

Kievits kroon is one of the most prestigious and luxurious estates. All staff members are well trained with great personalities and definitely a 5 star service. The accommodation was very well layed out and neat. We had a celebration, and Kievits kroon spoiled us with flowers and complementary gifts. Thank you for the amazing experience. Definitely recommend the place for all occasions, as I will be visiting the estate again!

Our experience at Kievits Kroon was absolutely delightful! The most friendliest staff members, going out of their way to make the stay memorable and doing the most for a special celebration. Would definitely recommend this wine estate for a getaway with your loved ones! Cannot wait to visit again.

If i could leave a 0 star review i would .I had a business event as a healthcare professional at this estate ,I stayed there put of convience. I ate at their resturant as the estate is in Pretoria and is put of the way and you can't travel anywhere else to eat and there are supposed to be resturants of good quality. I had supper ,went to my room and after a while I started to feel sick ,I then had a severe case of food poisoning that carried out throughout the night till the next morning .I had to go to the ER .the hotel called the paramedics and they insisted because my case was so severe the estate manager insisted and said the estate medical Insurance will cover it as I can't not go due to a risk for the estate.i did say I didn't want to go but they insisted. I spent an entire day from 6am till 7pm in the ER.while in the hospital the manager kept phoning the nurse and saying he "doesn't know if it's them" ,"that i was drinking"...after I got back from trip they told me it wasn't them they did a "test " on the "food" and it came back clear .they didn't pay for my medical bill and when I asked the management they said it wasn't them they did a report ,I emailed the estate multiple times and they have been ignoring me.If you want to get food poisoning and deal with terrible and incompetent management and staff then this is the place for you!!!I as a healthcare professional myself will never go here again and wish I didn't to start of with..TERRIBLE PLACE!

The lovely gardens and Cape Dutch architecture creats a beautiful and tranquil setting. The rooms were luxurious and very comfortable and the rose petals on the bed a extra special touch. All the meals were outstanding and the friendly and helpful staff made this an unforgettable experience. Seeing that this was a special family celebration all the above contributed to an awesome weekend.

The facility is so beautiful .The staff was friendly and helpful.The food was amazing but the chicken salad which my waitor Obakeng recommended was the star of the show. It was fresh and delicious. She said i should trust her recommendation and she was not wrong 10/10. Such and young and beautiful soul, thank you for evelating my experience with your smile and amazing service. The service and the beautiful smiles I got not only from her but the rest of the staff that I came across just made the experience more heartfelt. I will definitely recommend kievits to everyone i know, and I'll be sure to tell them about the great staff, facilities and chicken salad!!! 100/10 I will be coming back. Thank you. - nelly

The attitude of the hotel regarding Valentine's night was totally unacceptable. They insisted that I had to take one of the two dinner options at a surcharge of either R 2500 or R1790, instead of the regular offering of the Al A Carte menus at any of their restaurants Neither of those options was acceptable to me as I do not drink and am a pescatarian/vegetarian, nor did I want to see an outdoor movie and experience a picnic style buffet! The hotel website offers one thing but cannot deliver on those offers. They were totally intractable to my needs and were even rather high handed in the way they dealt with me - basically their way or the highway I found it astounding as I was about to spend approximately R 10,000 to R 12,000 for accomodation, spa treatments and dinners I will not consider the hotel for any future events
