Hotel Best Sabinal

Rooms were nice and airy. Clean. Plenty of towels! Buffet for breakfast and dinner was excellent ,a huge variety that would suit every patron. Staff very friendly and helpful! Also,during the power outage they moved my Mum from the 5th floor to the first floor as no elevators were working. Only down side was that their generators weren't operational during the power outage! Having said that,there was still plenty of food at dinner!

Had a lovely 4 nights in this area, hotel is not so good for being a four star. The hotel overall needs updating and decorating.Furniture in bedroom all chipped and wardrobe door would not open, had to be removed and replaced but still poor. The hotel corridors were never vacuumed in the four days we were there, crisps and rubbish over the floors. Not the standard of fours star hotel we are used to.

Myself & my Wife have been going to this Hotel for years & absolutely LOVE IT! We're Londoners who don't speak a word of Spanish, which causes no problems at all because the Staff at this hotel are mostly English speaking & lovely people. I've been meaning to leave a review since June last year, but it went completely out of my mind until now that we are due to stay at the Sabinal again in June. Were also trying to book a second stay in August of this year too.....that's how much we love it. I especially want to Thank....Casimiro, Jose Maria, & Dulce (forgive me if I have spelt your names wrong) who were so helpful in changing our room for us when we got there last year. We always like to stay in a room with a Seaview, but when we arrived the room was too far away for my wife to walk to, & had no Seaview, which was sorted out very quickly. If you're looking for a holiday close to a Beach, the Sabinal is ideal. You literally walk out of the Hotel, cross a small little cycle path & you're on the Beach, which is absolutely massive, & goes on for miles. Toni's Sunbeds are the best too, very comfortable & reasonably priced. Although we always go "Half Board" & always enjoy the lovely choice of food (whether it's breakfast time or evening meal time) we also like to explore the area & sometimes like to eat out. Right opposite the Sabinal is a little place called "Colosimo" which does an amazing English Breakfast, & most days 2 for the price of 1 on drinks. There is also a Restaurant called "Roma" & the food in there is beautiful too. It may seem mad to go out to eat when we've paid for Half Board, but as I said we do like to try places out whilst we're on Holiday. There is a Bus Stop just a minutes walk away from the Hotel, which will take you to the shopping centre etc etc, a Cab Service right next to it, & plenty of shops, Bars & Restaurants too. It's a very Family orientated place, & we feel so safe there. The Entertainment is mainly Spanish, but still very enjoyable even to us Londoners. The Rooms are kept very clean, & the cleaning staff are also such lovely people. Honestly can't find anything negative to say about this hotel, & really can't wait to get there in June. My Wife always says the minute we arrive at the Sabinal it feels like we've come home, & if she had her way....we'd never leave lol. Alexander McCallum - 13th June 2024 - 27th June 2024

I have never experienced such poor quality, cold food as I did here. The plates are cold and the dining experience is an absolute shambles. Please stop posting that your comments will be passed on for improvement, because this clearly isn’t done. After 2 abysmal days in the “canteen” we gave up. However, the hotel is ok and location excellent. Would we return? Yes, once the food is improved.

A wonderful hotel located on the Mediterranean Sea - from the windows there is a wonderful view of the charming Alemrian Coast. The hotel is very clean - well-kept. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is delicious, with lots of options to choose from. I definitely recommend it and I will gladly go back there someday. The only thing was that the rooms do not even have a small kettle or a cup or glass.

Just returned from a week stay at Best sabinal. On arrival the receptionist was very polite and spoke quite good English. Quickly checked us in and sent us off to our room. It was a very long walk from the lift to our room so if you struggle walking I'd suggest requesting a room closer to the lift. I wish we had paid extra for the sea view as the view at the back has a lot to be desired, however we were only in our room to sleep so this wasn't much of an issue. The room itself was very spacious with two double beds and a single for 2 adults and 2 children, fridge and a very big bathroom with only a shower. Aircon was great and kept the room nice and cool but this did occasionally blow out a very bad smell. Maybe this needs looking at? We where in room 324. My parents also came on holiday with us and had our 3rd child in their room with them their room was considerably smaller than ours. The maids came and cleaned our rooms daily. Always pleased to come back to the room to our beds made and fresh towels. The bathroom could do with a deep clean, the grout in the tiles around the shower is black and there is a crack in the shower floor which I can only imagine will be causing some water damage underneith. We all enjoyed the food. Breakfast was the best my children loved the pancakes and churros every morning with chocolate spread and we always found something to eat at other meal times as there's so much choice. Even for the fussiest of eaters you can get burger, hotdog, pizza and chips at every meal if you wanted. As a group of 7 we always found somewhere to sit in the dining room but did find ordering drinks at lunch and dinner quite challenging because of the language barrier. We would order a pint of beer and be brought a jug, or ask for a jug of pepsi for a few of us and be brought one glass or just not being asked if we wanted drinks at all. It would be better if you could help yourself to drinks like at breakfast time or have some sort of app you can order on. This is a very Spanish hotel which is what you expect when you go to Spain. There were very few English speaking guests and staff. It was again quite challenging with some members of staff when ordering at the bar as they didn't always quite understand when you try to order but we did always manage to get what we wanted. My children joined in the mini disco one night, this is only on every other night, it would be great if it was every night to entertain the children. The first time they joined in at the end they were giving out certificates and literally every other child joining in the mini disco received a certificate except my two children who were visibly upset by this but we didn't realise, because of the language barrier that these certificates were for attending the kids club. My children attended the kids club the day after, they were the only English speaking children there and the entertainer did try her best to speak to my children and include them when I went to collect th
