Hotel Best Sabinal

Excellent hotel couldn't fault it despite the blackout across Spain this hotel did amazingly in providing food and drink for everyone. Well done to all the staff in still providing an excellent service. The food has been exceptional and we base our stay on that if alot of spanish use it then it is goodenough for us. . The rooms are clean and tidy and done to a high standard. The sea view is an added bonus. The swimming pool is a delight with the added touch of a kiddy splash pool and fountains We are still here and have another week of luxury.

We had a lovely week at this hotel. Our room was great and exactly what we’d booked with a sea view,balcony,air Con and a fridge. The whole hotel was very clean and house keeping are wonderful. All Staff were very polite and with very well spoken English on reception. We only had one issue which was a blocked sink which was sorted straight away. 👍 We went room only and had a bit of an issue finding a decent restaurant/Spanish food. (Unable to comment on the hotel restaurant) We did find one place which had fantastic staff, very clean and very good food which was called “BOULEVARD NELLY” (blue canopy). If you use the beach gate and turn right it’s only 100m away from the hotel. The other restaurants weren’t so good. If you like a full English breakfast like I do it’s perfect. This was the Best breakfast I’ve ever had in Spain using back bacon and proper sausages. Also recommend the seafood paella too. Going back to the Hotel the only minor thing we will say is there isn’t enough brollies to go around in the pool area with many of the existing ones being broken. Also the same selfish people grabbing multiple brollies and saving beds at 7-8am and not returning until late afternoon but that is an issue with the people and not the hotel. Overall it was a lovely,reasonably priced break.

Good quality for a good price. Friendly staff, and a great location on the beach and near the nightlife. This is our second time here, and we will definitely be back next spring.

Our room was a lovely size with a nice balcony although it could have done with some tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was a decent size and all in all in good order. The meals were served in the restaurant with attentive staff taking drinks orders and clearing away. The self service buffet style evening meal was very well stocked with plenty of choice for those with limited tastes. There was plenty of ready made salads plus the constituent ingredients to make your own should you wish. Breakfast was similar in serving style however the queues for freshly make eggs or pancakes were extensive and perhaps would have been improved by having more than a single person cooking both options! Other than that the quality and choice of food was very good, just as in the evening! The staff in the bar were very good and engaging with a happy to help attitude. Whilst the chairs in general in the communal areas were snug for those of a wider beam the space was comfortable! For those wishing the use the pool area be aware that there are those who put their towels out before breakfast in order to secure the best spots! There is however plenty of space for laying in the sun around the pool if that’s your thing. I would say that going during Spanish holidays sees multitudes of locals descend upon the venue and if your not used to the noise this generate in public areas, including restaurants then it can be quite an assault on the hearing, even the smallest of groups are capable of generating quite a din! The modern mostly marble and glass public areas do nothing to absorb any such noise. The only other criticism would be the checking in and out process which seems unnecessary lengthy and causes considerable queuing at reception. All that said I’d recommend the hotel and its facilities for families and those looking for value for money for their holiday!

Room 5/5 Large room with minifridge, safe, hairdryer, baclony and blackout curtains. Cleaned promptly every day by lovely cleaning staff Facilities 3/5 Pool was nice and there were plenty of beds and seats. Gym was basic. Spa cost €6 for 2 hours per person which was unexpected but that may have been me not reading the listing properly. Lots of arcade type games as well as the classic evening entertainment which was ok. Food 3/5 The food was quite varied but was also cold. I don’t eat meat and there was usually enough options - 1/2 pasta dishes, lots of vegetables and 1/2 fish dishes alongside the standard bread, cheese, salad offerings. It was bland so would recommend taking some condiments if you like your food Drinks 5/5 Fantastic range of drinks including cocktails, beer, wine, soft drink machine and hot drinks Location 4/5 Right on the beachfront and a 20 min walk from the main town. There are supermarkets nearby and a few decent restaurants as well as tourist shops. The beach goes on for miles and is lovely, although a mix of stones and sand so would suggest taking some water shoes Overall, we had a pleasant time. It was an average hotel but the weather and staff made up for it. Probably wouldn’t go back as it’s quite far from the airport but I definitely don’t regret visiting

We have just returned from a fabulous week at this hotel. Very central location. Everything was great from the moment we arrived, lovely reception gentleman. The room was amazing with a sea view and two very large beds. Nice and clean. The food was lovely I have Coeliac disease and they are very aware and helpful thank you Raoul. I would highly recommend this hotel and we will be returning.
