Antico Podere San Francesco

We stayed for 10 days and it was a truly wonderful experience. The property is beautifully maintained. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The pool was always clean and water had perfect tempwrature. The location was also great for day trips to nearby towns and villages.

The space is generous and beautifully maintained — a peaceful setting surrounded by olive trees and vineyards, with plenty of room to explore or simply relax. The apartments are spacious, clean, and well-equipped, offering a comfortable base for day trips or lazy afternoons by the pool. One of the biggest advantages is how child-friendly the property is. There’s a lovely playground, safe open spaces for kids to run around, and the pool area is great for families. The staff clearly understand what families need and make everyone feel very welcome. An unexpected moment during our stay was encountering a snake on the grounds and in our appartement — a rare event and certainly surprising. It reminded us we were in the heart of nature. Overall, Antico Podere San Francesco offers a peaceful, family-friendly retreat with attentive staff, beautiful surroundings, and all the charm of the Tuscan countryside. Highly recommended for those looking to disconnect and enjoy a slower pace.

We have stayed in numerous locations throughout Europe, but this has been our favorite stay so far. The accommodations are beautiful, unique with charm and character and yet exceptionally clean and modern. Elena from the front desk was fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and had a very nice quality & variety to it. This somewhat remote (12 mins from Rosignano Solvay-Castiglioncello) is quiet, well-maintained and has everything you need for a lovely vacation. There is a guest laundry on the premises that comes with soap and wash and dry for 7.5 Euro

We loved staying here! Staff were so lovely and helpful. Our baby daughter loved the little cottage and walking around the beautiful grounds. A welcoming oasis close to Pisa, Livorno and tourist stuff.

We had a great time at this location. Staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful, provided a lot of recommendations for nearby restaurants that were incredible. Place has a very relaxing atmosphere, family and pet friendly. They have bikes you can use and great pool and play area for kids to enjoy. Definitely would recommend. The only thing, it is about 7 KM from the beach town, so if you don't have a car, getting a taxi can be challenging but the staff will still help you and figure it out for you and your party.

Great service (especially Romani who helped us book an amazing restaurant for sunset). The pool was fun and the honesty bar had lots of choice to keep adults and kids cool. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning was great. All in all a great few days!
