Discovery Parks - Alice Springs

What a great park. Super clean and tidy A great place for couples and families Truly an oasis Were secure and friendly staff. The camp kitchen is one of the best I have seen. Activities for kids are great. One of the biggest Bounce facilities I have ever seen Competitive pricing.

Amazing, quiet, secure, clean park with many excellent facilities. Friendly helpful staff at check in, pancakes on Sundays for those weary travellers who have run out of food and a choice of 4 pools and slides for kids. Superb- this is undoubtedly the best site we’ve found so far. And it’s next door to a brewery.

Staff are really nice. 10 min drive max to town. Feels safe in caravan park. Wonderful for kids if you have them as lots to do. Big caravan site. Ensuites are dated but nice to have. Hot water is great. Can be very noisy in the park with kids depending on who you are next to. Site are ok would be nice to have a bit more space between vans.

Had 2 X 2 night stays on way to and from Ayres Rock, drive through ensuite sites grassed and easy to access. Ammenities were excellent clean and heaps of hot water, staff friendly and a well stocked shop. Heaps of activities for kids multiple pools and jumping balloons. Highly recommend one of the best parks we have stayed in.

The safest park in the worst town full of crime, July 24 stay, Ballarat to Darwin trip. We stayed in the park for 4 nights and thought we were safe but it’s a town in self destruct mode with youth crime out of control. We sat in the Cole’s car park eating our McDonald’s for lunch watching the locals at work. There was a gang of thieves working the area waiting for easy prey. We saw 3 motor homes pull up, all 70-80 year old people, the wife gets out of the passenger seat while the husband is sitting at the wheel, then the blacks open the passenger door ripping out the hand bag along with the head rest then running of leaving the couple in shock. 7 days earlier one of them entered a tent with 3 young children inside while the parents were in a tent next door. The man put his arm around all of them but apparently the younger boy yelled out. They regularly jump the back fence stealing from any unlocked door, good luck if you have a tent. Don’t go anywhere after dark your car will get broken into, if you go to the supermarket one stay in the car and one go shopping, don’t take your hand bag, lots more to tell but yes it’s real, lot of the local shops have shut down due to crime, the discovery park is one of the best in town but all parks in this area are a target

We loved this park, on our drive between Adelaide and Darwin, this was one of the best parks we stayed at. Kids absolutely loved the pool, it was heated which was great, and the waterslide is a great touch. The facilities were great, bbqs, camp kitchens, laundries, and even a reading room, which I loved. We also enjoyed tasting the strawberries from the van one night. It's in a good location close to everything, and the staff are amazing.
