We cannot thank Glewstone enough for hosting our son and daughter-in-law’s wedding. From start to finish, everything was simply perfect. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, providing the most beautiful backdrop for such a special day. Sam and Charles went above and beyond in every possible way, nothing was too much trouble, they ensured that every detail was taken care of seamlessly. Their warmth, professionalism, attention to detail meant that we could all relax and enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in expert hands. If you’re looking for a truly magical wedding venue with outstanding service, look no further. It exceeded all our expectations!

We were at Glewstone Court yesterday to celebrate our friends Pete and Gaye's wedding. It was the most amazing day, the venue, food and service were all absolutely outstanding. It was made special by the superb team who worked so hard all day and all night, you really were fantastic. Thank you so much for looking after us and making Mr and Mrs B's day so wonderful 😊

Gastronomic delight! We enjoyed an amazing six course tasting menu in beautiful surroundings. You will not be disappointed. A warm welcome awaits and excellent service. We have been a few times previously and will be returning.

We came especially to have the 6 course taster menu. It was just amazing. The atmosphere was warm and having a table next to the open fire helped. The service was superb, professional but friendly. The food was just so delicious. Thank you for helping make my birthday gift one to remember fondly.

The staff were very friendly and engaging. Comprehensive wine list. I shared the chateaubriand with my friend and my other friend had the courgette flower, which was very attractive and, apparently, delicious. The beef was excellent and simply melted in the mouth, selection of wild mushrooms and good old proper chips. Custard tart for pudding.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glewstone Court, one of the few hotels I’ve ever been sad to leave. My main reason for going out of my way to write this review was the service of Sam throughout the duration of our stay. I’ve worked in customer facing roles for 15 years and consider myself a decent judge of service offered. Sam’s was exemplary, amongst the best I’ve ever experienced. He seemed to constantly be on shift and despite this his helpful demeanour never faltered. Not a single request I made was denied, he’s a credit to the establishment. The hotel itself offered a relaxed and homely feel throughout our stay and we will without a doubt return in the near future.

Really warm welcome from the Glewstone team today for a team meeting. Meeting room is gorgeous with plentiful supply of coffee and freshly baked cookies. Super lunch served in the bar area looking out at the grounds. Really great to use this venue again.

If there were ten stars… We had the time of our lives at Glewstone, for a multi-big-birthday mass family gathering. I don’t know where to start with how special Glewstone is - it was simply the best place we could possibly have booked for a weekend of fun, laughter, delicious food, great sleep, countryside walks, roaring log fires… If you’re looking for an idyllic venue for a celebration of love, life or love of life, look no further! Thank you from the bottom of my heart Gary and Sam and the team ❤️ PS If it’s *your* celebration, take the Gainsborough Suite for yourself!

We stayed in the Reynolds room which has a lovely view of the Cedar tree. The bed was very comfortable and the heating was easy to control. We booked the festive dinner and breakfast deal which meant everything apart from drinks was included. The food was delicious, especially the Hereford hop cheese soufflé starter and the Roly poly Christmas pudding. It snowed overnight so the view was even more stunning in the morning. There was plenty of choice for breakfast . As always the staff are friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
