Hillcliffe House

On a recent trip to Devon and Cornwall we included a two night stay at Highcliffe House, Lynton on Exmoor National Park. Having read the reviews and marvelled at their many accolades and accomplishments we knew were in for a treat. We booked our accommodation via their informative website and chose The Cleave bedroom on the second floor. The Jacobean Four Poster Super-king bed was the most comfortable bed we have slept in for years. The interior of the room was stylish with Ralph Lauren wallpaper , Japanese antique art and a sparkling new white en-suite and power shower. We indulged daily in a traditional English breakfast with the tastiest local produce and were really impressed with the owners coffee menu all personally selected from plantations they visited in South America on their travels. The public rooms at Highcliffe House are luxurious with an eclectic art gallery feel. We loved sampling the local Devon gins nightly before we ate at the fabulous restaurants only a short walk away. Passionate and friendly owners, luxury through out with magnificent views from every aspect sets Highcliffe House in a league of its own! We intend to come back Helen
