Like going back 300 years with today’s comforts, it won’t disappoint - full of character and charm. Great location too, right above Greenwich Market. Staff were welcoming and professional. Everything in the room felt tasteful and in great condition.

On a day trip and looked like a good spot for lunch. The food was pretty good and service friendly, the issue was the music. On a Monday lunchtime, the music was loud 90’s that didn’t match the time, date or patrons eating. I found that odd. Also the Guinness lines need cleaning because it wasn’t the best but ok.

This place is a joke, having booked 2 rooms at the beginning of July 2022 (at which time the hotel confirmed the booking by email) last week they suddenly cancelled the booking and stated they’d just realised, 7 months later that the rooms had already been booked !! Convenient than the rates for the weekend were now £900 + nearly 30% the price we’d secured. They then offered to put us up in an ‘alternative’ ??? bottom end hotel scored at 5/10 and described on line as ‘Bearable’ absolute shocking customer service and zero ethics. Do not trust this hotel, I’ve read about it happening to people before but never experienced it. Only gave a review of one because that’s the lowest possible score !!!

Really lovely English pub right next to the Greenwich Market. The food was lovely and I had very generous helpings. Nicest coffee I've had in London. The staff were very keen and attentive. I wish I had booked a room as the very pleasant waitress allowed me to look at one. It was a lovely quiet room but unfortunately I'd already booked and paid elsewhere.

Historic location. Market square downstairs that’s been in operation since the 1700s. Walking distance from the Royal Observatory and other historacal sights. Pub and restaurant downstairs. Within a couple of blocks is food, stores, an Anglican Church, and a diverse community of experiences. The one minus is after 7pm and before 8am most businesses are closed. Loved my stay there. Be ready for stairs but that’s London.

We booked a superior room it was spacious and very clean.It was a large room very comfortable bed very good walk in shower with shampoo and gel bottles attached. It also includes a very good selection of Beveridges and kettle small fridge also available within the room as well as a T.V. As we arrived early we were still checked in which was good of them we also had lunch it was good. We only booked 1 night as we had a concert at the O2 to attend buses 129 / 188 just around the corner go direct to this location. A bit of stair climbing is required to access the rooms so you need to bear this in mind also it us located in the centre of Greenwich on the 1 way system next to the market so it can be quite noisy as the rooms are not double glazed.
